It was an early morning, Killua and Gon were up and packing up for their get-away time they were going to spend at Mito's house.

Killua was half asleep as he packed, sitting on the floor and slumping over the bed. Gon laughed softly, going over to Killua and kissing his forehead.

Killua jolted a bit in surprise, blushing as he pushed Gon's face away. "Okay, okay! I'm awake," he said with a soft laugh. Gon laughed a bit as well, resuming his own packing while Killua got started with his.

After a few long minutes, the two finished with their packing. They were currently in the kitchen with Leorio and Kurapika eating a quick breakfast.

"Gon, the Uber is here!" Killua shouted from down the hall. "Already?" Gon replied, shoveling down the last bit of his breakfast before getting up and running toward their room.

Killua and Gon grabbed their bags, saying goodbye to Leorio and Kurapika as they exited the house. The couple then entered the car, Killua stating where they needed a ride to and paying the driver.

Considering Gon's home town was an island, they could only get a drive towards the closest docks and take a ship the rest of the way there. Although the two didn't mind it as long as they were together.

~~Time Skip~~

After a long uber drive, and an even longer ship travel, Killua and Gon had soon arrived at Whale Island. Gon had an excited expression on his face as he and Killua exited the ship, soon walking onto the sturdy land and starting the walk to Gon's home.

As Gon was all happy and jumpy, Killua was unsure and sweaty. Though the two continued up the hill to the house, soon arriving at their destination.

The two approached the door, and Gon knocked a few times before calling out to Mito. "Aunt Mito, we're heree!" Gon exclaimed happily, patiently waiting for Mito to open the door.

Not too long later, the door opens and Mito pulls both of them into a tight hug, greeting them happily. "Awh, I've missed you guys! I'm so glad you could visit," she said happily. Gon nodded in agreement as he and Killua hugged her back.

Mito released the two, welcoming them into the house and letting them settle down into Gon's room. Once they finished unpacking everything, they went back downstairs and joined Mito in the kitchen.

"I made lunch! I assumed the way here would take a little while, you guys must be hungry," Mito said as she served Gon and Killua. "Thank you for the food, I'm starving!" Gon said happily. Killua thanked Mito as well, both of them pausing to pray before digging in. Mito smiled brightly, nodding in response to their thanks.

Mito sat across from the couple with her own plate of food, doing the same before she started eating as well. "So, has anything interesting happened these past few months?" Mito asked with a happy tone. Gon and Killua paused to think.

"Oh! Leorio and Kurapika bought a new house!" Gon exclaimed, taking a bite of food after he spoke. (Help the huge wave of deja vu I js felt- did i alr write this??-)

Mito laughed softly, nodding as she continued to listen to the two mumbling happily about the recent changes. Killua was pretty quiet, only ever speaking every now and then, so it was mainly Gon doing all the chatting.
