Skipping School

~Chapter Seventeen~

Killua and Gon stayed there in bed for hours, both exhausted from staying up pretty late. Gon was gonna get up multiple times, but Killua prevented that. "Stay here. Its cold." He held Gon soft but tightly. He smiled at the boys actions, deciding to stay in bed.

They passed out again, sooner sleeping through the whole morning. Leorio and Kurapika most likley weren't aware the two were still in the house. Killua kept his face snuggled in Gons neck for warmth. His arms wrapped around the boys waist.

Killua was burning up, yet he claimed to be freezing. This made Gon instantly realize. He must have a fever. Gon got up fast replacing his body with a pillow, as if Killua would tell the difference with his current state. 

Gon stormed out of the room not caring that Leorio and Kurapika were in the living room. He ignored their shouting as he gathered medicine and a warm cloth for Killua. He went back into the room, closing the door a little too aggressively.

Killua groaned as Gon constantly adjusted the cloth placed on Kils head. Poor boy must've gotten sick from someone on campus. Gon gave Killua some medicine, giving a small smile as the boy took some.

Kurapika barged into the room, then paused as he saw what was happening. "Oh," He said relaxing his clenched fists. Gon was sitting at the foot of his bed, Killua laying there as he held Gons hand.

"He caught a fever." Gon said, not once taking his eyes off the boy. Kurapika nodded, closing the door as he headed back to the couch. He decided to start up some chicken soup to help the sick boy, but first he would have to buy all the ingredients. He sighed as he grabbed his car keys, giving Leorio a kiss on the head before walking out.

Leorio gave a confused expression as Kurapika stormed out the door.
He just shrugged it off and went to see what the boys were doing home. As he walked to the door he was really hoping they weren't doing..

But as he creeked the door open, he saw the cutest thing ever. Killua was holding Gon, maybe a little to tight. But Gon lay there smiling as he played with Killuas hair.

"So why aren't you two at school?" Leorio asked still standing in the doorway. "Killua has a fever. I wanted to stay with him." Leorio smiled, but then he realized. "Gon if hes sick you shouldn't be directly next to him or even in the same bed! You'll get sick too you idiot," Leorio shouted in a whisper. He saw Gon give a small shrug. "So?" He replied, still playing with the boys hair.

Leorio chuckled. "Alright I guess, but no more skipping for you anytime this week. If Killuas fever doesn't go down tomorrow , only he will be staying home." That made Gon instantly frown. He shook his head, saying no to Leorio.

Such a stubborn kid. Leorio thought with a smile, walking back into the living room.

Not long after he sat down, Kurapika stormed back into the house with a shit ton of grocery bags. Leorio gave a concered stare as Kura rushed out the house to get more.

After about three times of going in and out Kurapika finally got the last bag. "Someone bought alot today." Leorio chuckled. Kura gave a smile as he sat down on the couch. "Yeah. Most are the ingredients for chicken soup, and I bought a few other things aswell." Leorio glanced at the counter completely covered in bags.

"A few?" Leorio laughed. Kurapika gave a playful eyeroll as he grabbed the remote. But once he finally chose a movie, he heard Killua sneeze. "Shit I need to go make the soup." Kura instantly got up and rushed in the kitchen.

He unloaded the groceries, gathering all the main ingredients. Kurapika turned the flame on low, boiling the sauce and chicken.
