♡Turkey and Thanks♡

Thanksgiving Chapter<3
~Chapter Thirty-Four~

It was an early Thursday morning, Thanksgiving day.  Everyone was already up and dressed, packing clothes to spend a night or two with Mito.  Alluka managed to sneak out once again, heading straight over to Killua's the night before. 

Kurapika and Leorio loaded the food and bags into one of the cars, making sure they didn't forget anything.   The younger group was messing around as they were already in the car.  Gon hadn't seen Aunt Mito in a while, so visiting her made him very happy. 

Soon the car was all loaded and ready to go, the five heading out on a long drive to Mito's house.   It didn't take long for Alluka to end up falling asleep, her face limp in her hand.  Killua and Gon talking about something semi important, while the other two up front chatted about their date. 

After a while the drive got pretty silent, Gon and Killua falling asleep with their head atop each other and fingers intertwined.  Kurapika took a photo of the three sleeping, wanting more pictures with Alluka included.  (even though he took a shit ton the last week she was over-)

Leorio pulled up to a gas station, practically in the middle of nowhere, so he and Kurapika could get off and switch seats as they refilled the tank.  Leorio didn't mind driving, but with Kurapika being very caring, he would constantly make sure Leorio wasn't getting tired.  So they started the seat swap on their last long road trip, which was basically just to go to spirit halloween out of town.

As the tank got refilled the two talked quietly against the car, mentioning buying a slightly bigger house. Not any extra rooms, but maybe one that came with a backyard and a bigger space for the living room and kitchen.  Though with their current jobs they would need a bit more of a boost before they started planning that.

After all that they were back on the road, closer to their destination.  Killua had met Mito before, but the other two hadn't.  It was honestly a bit surprising since Gon moved in with them, the two still not ever meeting the Woman who Gon originally lived with. 

~Time Skip~

After another hour or two, they finally arrived at Mito's house.  Luckily with them taking off pretty early, it was barely even 10:00am.

Killua woke up to the sound of the doors opening, waking the other two up as he realized they were there.  They joined the other two that were already out of the car, helping with unloading the things.  Gon walked up to the door and knocked a few times, being greeted by Mito who had an apron on, along with a turkey baster in her hand. 

"Aunt Mito!!" Gon shouted as he hugged the woman instantly.  She smiled, hugging him back.  "Oh Gon I've missed you! I'm glad you and your friends could make it," she exclaimed. Once the two released each other, Mito greeted the others with a hug after they set everything down.   She then noticed another person, a girl.

Killua grabbed Alluka's hand.  "This is my sister Alluka. I hope you don't mind me bringing her," he explained.  Mito nodded as she pulled the girl in a hug.  "Not at all! You have such a lovely name Alluka," she said with a bright smile. Alluka smiled back with a brighter smile.  Mito let the girl go, heading back into the kitchen to check the turkey.

Killua whispered in Gon's ear, reminding the boy of what they were discussing in the car.  Gon nodded feeling a bit nervous, but it was better to say it in person than over text. "Aunt Mito, I have something to tell you! I wanted to say it in person though considering it's more respectful,"  Gon said, as he and Killua entered the kitchen with her. 

Mito put the turkey back in the oven and set the baster to the side, shifting her view over to the two boys.  "Hm? Yes Gon?" she asked with a bit of a straight face, making Gon even more nervous.  Killua noticed the boys face and gave him a gentle hand squeeze, deciding to say it for Gon.
