Spring Break pt1

~Chapter Forty-Five~

A few weeks had passed, and it was now spring break. Even so, both Leorio and Kurapika had picked up extra hours at work. They were really invested in the idea of getting that new house, and Leorio had found a perfect one that had been on the market for a while. The moment he showed Kurapika, the blonde fell in love and suggested the whole extra hours idea.  Now with the two being gone for longer parts of the day, Killua and Gon were left alone and completely bored. 

“What a wonderful way to spend a break,” Killua says sarcastically with a groan as he falls to his bed. Gon chuckled, nodding in reply. He was drawing on his sketchbook, and Killua was drawing too for a little while. He ended up getting bored, and giving up on his sketch idea. Gon however, was completely drowned in his drawing. His pen smoothly grazed the paper, making every detail stand out. He was using three different colors to bring out the detail. 

The reason he put so much effort into his drawing was because it was a portrait of Killua. The three colors he used were blue, purple, and black. Gon smiled as he added the last details onto the paper, then sitting up to show Killua. 

“Killu,” Gon said with a smile as he tried to get his boyfriend's attention. Killua sits up immediately. “Hm?” he replied while fixing his hair. Gon lifts his sketchbook up, showing Killua the portrait. Killua gasps in awe. “Gon. You are an absolute artist,” he stated while holding the sketchbook. Gon smiles while laughing. “Well, considering the fact you’re already a piece of art, this was easy to draw!” Gon replied sweetly with a large smile. Killua smiled back, blushing at the comment. 

He gets off the bed and sits next to Gon on the floor, and soon the boy is directly under Killua. 

~Pov Switch~

The office had finally started taking off a bit, and there were plenty more workers than last week. However, that means more paperwork for Leorio. He didn’t mind it all too much, but it was a little tiring.

The man sighs as he pauses from the typing, looking over at the stacks on paper on the left side of his desk. He then switches his glance to the clock, it was finally almost his lunch break. Leorio types up the words from the paper as fast as possible, deciding he’ll just fix the mistakes and revise after break. 

Leorio entered the elevator, heading down to the first floor. It was a three story building, the other stories being under slight construction. Though it was amazing how much got finished in such a short time. The first floor was the break room for now, it was also combined with the front desk and sign in sheets for the employees’ whenever they arrived at their shifts. The next two floors were office zones, and the boss’s office was on the second floor where Leorio worked.  The current three stories getting worked on at the moment are the new break room, a files and storage floor, considering one room would be too small, and one more office zone.

 It wasn’t exactly like other businesses, but it worked just as fine as a normal place would. (I have absolutely no office interaction, I’ve only ever read one manga involving an office worker so–) 

Leorio enters the break room, grabbing a five dollar bill and heading over to the vending machine. He normally eats a big breakfast, so that way all he’d need for lunch is a simple soda and chocolate bar. He gets his usual from the machine, then opening the wrapper to the chocolate and leaning against a counter as he eats it. It was kind of empty in the office during this time, considering half the workers don't clock in till the evening or late at night.
