25) Hangover & Butterflies

Jungkook has been staring at the clock for the past two hours. It was already 9:30 pm and there was still no sign of Taehyung. He always comes home by 7, and if he's going to be late, then he always lets Jungkook know in advance. He thought to wait for sometime, thinking that maybe he was busy with some emergency case or a surgery. So, he decided to wait till 9 before calling him. But to his dismay, Taehyung didn't pick up his call and now he was getting worried.

He had already made Eunie go to bed after struggling for a long time, because she wanted to wait for Taehyung to come home. But Jungkook somehow managed to coerce her. But now that he was sitting alone in the living room, just staring at the clock, he wished Eunie was with him to keep his mind occupied from thinking negative thoughts. He didn't even have his dinner, because he always has his dinner with Taehyung. He looked at the clock which striked 10 and picked up his phone to call Taehyung one more time.

But once again the call went full ring, before getting disconnected. There were only two numbers in his phone, one was Taehyung's and the other belonged to Jimin which Taehyung had saved, incase there was an emergency and Jungkook couldn't reach him. His fingers hovered over Jimin's contact and he was contemplating whether to call him or not, when the doorbell rang, making Jungkook drop his phone on the ground.

He immediately ran to open the door, only to be met with Hobi supporting Taehyung, who seemed to be having trouble standing up.

"Bunny, please help me get this deadweight inside." Hobi said, bringing Jungkook out of his trance, He immediately went to the other side and put Taehyung's hand on his shoulders, taking some of the weight away from Hobi. The moment he went close to Taehyung, he was hit with the strong smell of alcohol and he scrunched up his nose in distaste.

"Hai, you look like my bunny. Do you know my bunny? He's small and cute and reallyyyyyyyy beautiful. Shhh..but don't tell him I said that. It's a secret." Taehyung said, slurring, while Jungkook was dumbfounded.

"Oh for the love of everything holy, please shut the fuck up. I can't listen to this anymore. If one more time I hear the word bunny, I'm gonna have nightmares about it." Hobi said, struggling to carry a drunk Taehyung up the stairs.

After what seemed like an eternity, both Hobi and Jungkook managed to get Taehyung to his room and drop him on the bed. They were both panting heavily after all the exercise.

"Hyung, what happened to him? I've never seen him getting drunk even once from the time I came here. Then what made him drink today?" Jungkook asked, worry lacing his voice.

"Well, let's just say he had a really bad day at the hospital and wanted to relieve some stress. So, we went to a pub, but I didn't know he would get this drunk. In my defense, I did try to stop him after the 3rd glass, but you know how stubborn he is. Anyways, I should leave now. It's pretty late and I'm damn sure he'll wake up with a nasty hangover tomorrow." Hobi said, checking his own watch.

"Thank you Hyung, for bringing him home safely."

"You don't need to thank me. He's my friend and besides I was the one who took him to the pub. Take care of him now. And please make him drink some water while he's still awake. Goodnight and goodluck." Hobi said, patting his shoulders and walking out the room.

Jungkook looked at the drunk figure on the bed and sighed. He went towards him and removed the shoes he was wearing and then went to remove his coat, but it was a struggle, since Taehyung was not willing to budge even an inch from his spot. But after struggling for almost five minutes, he managed to remove his coat. He then went towards the washroom and brought a wet towel to wipe Taehyung's face only to find a half naked Taehyung lying on the bed.
