14) Hospital Visit

It was the next morning when Taehyung came out of his room. He had gotten up early today to make breakfast, since Jungkook couldn't make it. He had just stepped foot in the kitchen when he saw Jungkook preparing breakfast and Eunie creating a mess in the name of helping him.

"Bunny, what are you doing? Didn't I tell you yesterday that you won't cook. Then why are you doing this? Do you want to make your injury worse?" he asked, pulling him away from the stove. Jungkook was startled by the sudden voice, but calmed down when he realized it was only Taehyung.

"Hyung, I'm alright now and my hand doesn't hurt anymore. Besides, I'm not cooking anything. I just made some toasts and cut some fruits. That's it. I didn't even switch on the stove." he said, pointing his finger to the stove.

"It doesn't matter. Your burn is still fresh and there is still a risk of infection if you're not careful. So until and unless, it's completely healed, you are not doing anything. Understand?" Taehyung said, sternly making Jungkook pout and nod his head.

"And why is my princess up so early today? You never wake up before 8, so how come today you woke up even before me?" Taehyung asked his daughter, who just smiled in response.

"She woke up early to help me make breakfast, didn't you princess?" Jungkook said, making Eunie nod her head.

"Waah really, I know my princess is the best daughter in the world." Taehyung said, kissing all over her face, making her squirm in his hold.

"Hyung, you should get ready now, since I'm already done with breakfast." Taehyung nodded, placing Eunie on the ground.

"Yes, but you should get ready too, because you're coming with me today." Taehyung said, making Jungkook confused.

"Me, but why?" he questioned.

"Because I need to change your dressing and I used the last of the bandages on you yesterday. And also because I want you to meet a colleague and friend of mine. He's a Neurologist. I've told him about you and he has agreed to meet you. So get ready, we'll leave after breakfast." Taehyung said, making Jungkook surprised. He didn't know the elder had already consulted a doctor for him and after almost two weeks of uncertainty, he felt a new hope blossoming inside him.

"But what about Eunie, hyung?" he asked.

"Don't worry, I'll drop her at Jimin's for today. Now, stop wasting time and go get ready." Jungkook didn't need to be told twice. He ran towards his room to get ready. Taehyung looked at him hopping away and chuckled.

'He really is a Bunny.' he thought.

"Come on princess, let's go and get you ready too. You're going to be with Chim uncle today." Taehyung said, scooping her up in his arms.

"Hyung, thank you so much for doing this for me. I don't know how to repay you for any of this." Jungkook said, feeling emotional. They were on their way to the hospital now, after dropping off Eunie at Jimin's.
