69) Tranquility

Taehyung was sleeping soundly, hugging his Bunny when the loud ringing of his phone interrupted the peaceful silence and his sleep. It took him a moment to clear his foggy head, but as soon as he realized where he was, he immediately picked up the call and silenced it to not disturb Jungkook's sleep. He looked at Jungkook to make sure he was still sleeping before bringing the phone to his ears and whispering into it. He didn't want to move away from the bed since Jungkook was practically lying on top of him.

"Hello, Tae, can you hear me? Why are you not saying anything?" Jimin asked from the other side.

"I'm here, Chim. Why did you call me so early? It's barely 6 in the morning." Taehyung said, after checking the time on his watch.

"Do you have amnesia, you son of a bitch? Didn't I tell you that we're coming to Seoul when we spoke last night? Now, don't tell me that you forgot." Jimin said, angrily while Taehyung was dumbfounded. He had really forgotten about their conversation.

"Chim, I didn't forget. I was sleeping when you called me. So, my brain hasn't woken up yet." he said, hoping Jimin would buy that excuse.

"So wake your ass up then. We're already in Seoul and I'm tired and sleepy as hell as Yoongi didn't let me sleep a wink the whole night saying he wants me to keep him company while he is driving. And honestly, knowing him, I was afraid he might fall asleep at the wheel and kill all of us. So, I didn't have any other option than to sacrifice my precious sleep. But, that's not the point. Tell me where you are and we'll come there. And how is Bunny by the way? Is he alright now?"

"Yes, Jimin, he's alright and I'll tell you everything once you come. But, are you sure you want to come to the hospital first? If you want you can go to the hotel where I'm staying and freshen up first. I know all of you must be tired after the long journey."

"No, we can rest later and besides I made the mistake of telling your daughter that we're going to see her Eomma and ever since then the kid had become so hyperactive and energetic, making me rethink my decision of having kids ever. She kept asking how much longer every two minutes and only went to sleep when we were closer to Seoul. So, please take your daughter back before Yoongi loses his shit." Taehyung could understand his daughter's enthusiasm. After all, he wasn't any different.

"Alright then, come safely." Taehyung said, disconnecting the call. He was too eager to see his daughter's reaction upon seeing Jungkook. He smiled to himself and sent his location to Jimin before hugging Jungkook once again. He admired Jungkook's features like a creep and started wondering if their kid will look like him or his Bunny. He'd love it if the baby looked like Jungkook since he already has a mini version of him.

He didn't know how long he was staring at Jungkook, but he became alert as he saw small whimpers coming out of Jungkook's mouth. He immediately sat up and started caressing Jungkook's hair to coax him into consciousness and it worked as Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and looked at Taehyung in confusion. Taehyung hugged him tightly, almost knocking the wind out of Jungkook by his sudden action, making him surprised.

"Bunny, you have no idea how happy I am to see you awake. You scared the shit out of me yesterday, bun. Don't you dare scare me like that ever again." Taehyung kept mumbling in Jungkook's neck, making him worried.

"What happened, Hyung? And where am I?" Jungkook asked, looking around the unfamiliar room.

"You fainted yesterday, bun. And we're in the hospital right now." Taehyung explained, making Jungkook's eyes go wide in realization. He had completely forgotten about yesterday's incident and as soon as the memories came, his smile was wiped right off his face. Taehyung saw the change in his Bunny's expression and he didn't like it one bit.
