68) A New Tomorrow

Taehyung stepped into the hospital room to see his Bunny sleeping so peacefully. Tears sprung up in his eyes as his eyes travelled down to his stomach where another life was growing. His feet took him to his love and he sat down next to his bun, caressing his face before leaning in to place a chaste kiss on his lips and stomach. Taehyung placed his hand on Jungkook's stomach and an overwhelming emotion enveloped him. He removed his shoes and carefully laid down next to him, before pulling him towards his chest and placing a protective arm around Jungkook's waist and shoulders. He smiled contently as Jungkook nudged closer to him in his sleep, searching for warmth and Taehyung couldn't help but to steal another kiss from his sleeping beauty.

"You really are a miracle in my life, bun. I never thought it would be possible for me to experience the happiness of becoming a father once again. Even when we were intimate this thought never crossed my mind even for a second. Guess, I was a fool to not think about it. But, can you blame me? Everytime I'm with you, I forget the whole world. Taehyung kept talking to Jungkook in hushed whispers so as not to disturb his sleep. He was too excited to even think of sleeping although he was exhausted after the long travel and the many sleepless nights he had spent without his Bunny. He knows that there are still things that needs to be resolved, especially involving Jungkook's parents, but right now he doesn't give a shit about any of it. His world is in his arms and he'd protect it with everything he has in him. He hugged him close, his mind, body and heart finally feeling at peace after the long wait and his eyes shut close as his body gave into exhaustion.
