41) Temptation

"Come out, Bunny." Taehyung's voice rang through the room, making Jungkook shiver. He could feel beads of sweat on his forehead and his heart was beating so loud, he was afraid if Taehyung could hear it. Jungkook felt cornered and tears brimmed his eyes just thinking of what Taehyung might think of him. He was brought out of his insecure thoughts when Taehyung's voice rang out once again.

"What happened, baby? Why aren't you coming out? Is everything alright?" Jungkook could hear worry in Taehyung's voice and it made him want to sob out loud. He clenched his hands on Taehyung's shirt that barely came up to his mid thigh, trying to pull it down without much success. Taehyung on the other hand was getting worried now. He knew Jungkook was hiding from him, but he didn't know why and to top it off, he wasn't even answering him.

Taehyung took a step closer to the wardrobe and now he was standing just a few inches away from Jungkook, but still far away to see him fully. Jungkook stepped back more, almost hitting the wall when he felt Taehyung coming closer.

"Stay back, please." Jungkook whimpered almost inaudibly, but Taehyung still heard him. He could tell just from Jungkook's voice that he was scared and that only made Taehyung more worried.

"Bunny, come out this instant. You're making me worried. Please don't test my patience." Taehyung said a bit sternly, because he wasn't liking the fact that Jungkook felt like he had to hide from him for whatever reason. Jungkook could hear seriousness in Taehyung's voice and it made him even more scared, but he knows better than to anger Taehyung, because angry Taehyung was scary. So, with a lot of hesitation and fear, he finally stepped out of the tiny space and stood in front of Taehyung with head hung low and tears streaming down his face.

Taehyung had his mouth wide open seeing Jungkook in his attire. And he could feel a twitch in his pants, because the sight in front of him was truly breathtaking. But the moment his eyes landed on Jungkook's face, all of his naughty thoughts went out the window and concern overtook him. He immediately went closer to him and made him look at him, by lifting his face. And his heart broke, seeing tears in those bambi eyes and he immediately wiped those away, only for it to be replaced by fresh ones.

"Please don't cry, love. You know I can't bear tears in your eyes, right? Then why are you hurting me, bun?" Taehyung asked him in a soft voice, making Jungkook break down in his arms. He hugged Taehyung tightly and started sobbing in his arms like a baby, breaking Taehyung's heart. He let Jungkook cry his heart out, while continuing to whisper sweet nothings into his ear. And after what seemed like an eternity, Jungkook finally calmed down and his sobs turned into sniffles.

Taehyung made Jungkook sit on the bed, before covering his bottom half with the blanket and sat down next to him. Jungkook was still not looking at him as he felt like he just made a fool out of himself in front of Taehyung. They both stayed silent for sometime, giving each other time to put their thoughts together and once Taehyung felt like Jungkook was no longer sniffing, he poured a glass of water for him and made him drink it.

"Are you feeling fine now?" Jungkook just nodded to that question, still not meeting his eyes.

"Are you going to tell me what this was all about and why you were only in my shirt? Don't get me wrong. You can wear my clothes anytime you want. You don't need my permission for that. But if I come home to find my boyfriend hiding behind the wardrobe in nothing but just my shirt and then refuses to come out and then when he does come out, he starts sobbing in my arms, don't you think I deserve an explanation for that?" Taehyung asked, gently but still sounding a bit stern, indicating that he wouldn't accept his silence as an answer.

Jungkook knew Taehyung was right. If it was him in his place, he too would've wanted to know everything. But he was too embarrassed to tell the truth. What was he even supposed to say? That he was trying to seduce Taehyung because he missed his touch and his clinginess. It sounded cringey to his own ears, so how would Taehyung feel? But he also knew that he cannot escape without telling the truth. So, after much hesitation, he decided to tell him everything from the beginning. And by the time he was done Taehyung had tears in his eyes.
