why Bell was denied

part of the story but not an official chapter, for those wondering why Bell was denied despite seeming like the perfect person to be an adventure, here are a few reasons why he was rejected

1. lack of standing out: Bell came from a town in the middle of nowhere like many other people, and while Bell was indeed a hunter, at least 1/10 of the adventure applicants are hunters in their village as well, so Bell wasn't at all a rare sight to see, so 

2. Credibility: while Bell has fought his fair share of monsters, since there is no real proof to prove this outside of relying on your patron god or goddess to tell you, assuming they aren't throwing the person a bone in pity, and since Bell's hunts or battles was as a medic, how many monsters he's legitimate taken down or even fought himself is Iffy at best, even though Bell has indeed acted as a Vanguard for his hunts at times opposed to other medics in his position a few good many times, it's not convincing enough for many, also, almost everyone who applies says they are either an apprentice Knight, spartan, or HUNTER and are indeed combat experienced when they have never even lifted a sword or bow in their life, and who's to say someone as lanky as Bell, despite being quite strong, is any different

3. lack of opportunity to showing his skills: as I said, Bell is the jack of all trades master of none kind of character in my version of Danmachi, namely to make Bell have more interactions with the likes of Nassa in medicine making, Welf in Blacksmithing, and Artemis in hunting, and many more, however, there is a problem with this kind of character, in this case, the inability to display them, sure some cases Bell was able to show off, but unlike with the Goibniu or Dian Cecht Familia's, Bell isn't able to just show off his skills and prove he can indeed do thing's to the Familia's interest, and even when he could, he was good enough, but never at the level they want or expect, so he was denied simply for that alone

4. pride and arrogance: as many would expect, many Familia's, at least some of the medium-sized or growing small ones anyway, have pride in their Familia and don't just accept anyone who won't perform at a certain level, and like before, due to a lack of being able to show off his actual skills, Bell was denied before he even walked through the door sometimes and was denied solely on his appearance at times as well

5. kindness: many would think "but isn't being nice and able to get along with a good thing", yes it is, unless you mistake kindness for naivety and fool-hearted blind trust, while Bell was far nicer and forgiving than anyone else, he can hold a grudge when needed, especially to people like Evilus, and in my story, Bell is not above killing or even torturing people like this without a second thought despite how he acts, think of Bell more like a pit Bull, while he is kind and cut,e once something he cares about is in danger, he will not hesitate to sink his fangs into it until it is dead or crippled

I didn't have to make this, but I felt more context on why Bell was denied should have been made, as well as more character development on Bell's side.
