The oceans love affair

The sun loves the moon
Patiently and boldly
He dotes on her
Giver all the love she could could need
But the moon has cravings
The sun can't feed

The sun loves the moon
With a smile on his face
But the moon loves the ocean
With elegance
And grace
The moon knows the waves
Like the craters of her skin
And the ocean knows the moon
Like it could dive right in
To her Murky depths
And come out unscathed
But the moon loves the sun
So
She stays

The sun knows of this love
And does not judge
For he knows how hard it is
To be up above
And far away
Watching your love play
And never getting to hold them.

So the moon pulls her tides
In an ever winding flow
The sun understands
As he sees the moon glow

The ocean is the earth
And the earth loves the gods

And the gods love the earth

No matter the cost
