Tumuloy na siya sa opisina niya. But before he could close his door, he stole a glance at her. Nakatalikod ito sa kanya, may hinahanap na kung ano sa cabinet.

He stayed in his office most of the time. He tried to concentrate on his work most of the time. But it was either his work, or her, wala nang iba. Gusto niyang magpaka-ermitanyo sa loob nang opisina niya, huwag lumabas, wag lang itong makita, pero hindi pa rin niya maiwasang hindi lumabas nang kuwarto, at magkunwaring may sasabihin kay Nana, or may iuuutos dito, na puwede naman niyang idaan sa kahit sa pagtawag.
