Chapter 16: A Chance at Love?

You'll get into Chuck's limo.

Blair: Who was that? *She questions curiously*

Y/N: Just some guy I met in the fruit and veg isle *You say softly worried she'll judge you*

Blair: And you gave him your number?! *She says worried*

Y/N: Yes..

Chuck: *He cuts you of* Isn't that dangerous?

Y/N: He seemed nice plus no one shops in our area this late unless they live here *You say calmly*

Blair: She makes a good point *She say impressed*

Chuck: True let me know if you need a background check on him *He says nonchalantly*

Y/N: I will *You say laughing a little*

The next day you get a call from an unknown number as you're getting ready for class.

Y/N: Hello?

Bucky: Hi, it's James from last night

Y/N: Hi

Bucky: I was wondering if you'd like to get coffee or something today or when you're free.. *He says nervously*

Y/N: Yeah sure, erm let me check my schedule *You look down at your book to see when you're free*

Bucky: Sure

Y/N: I'm free tomorrow after class at 2 is that okay?

Bucky: Yeah that's great *He says happily* We can meet at the Bel Ami Café

Y/N: Sounds great *You say excitedly* I have to run now but I'll see you tomorrow at 2

Bucky: Okay...yes, see you tomorrow, bye Y/N

Y/N: Bye James

The next day you go to class and get home at 1:30pm. You have a quick shower and get dressed. You wear plain black top with a redish brown skirt with buttons going down, throwing on a leather jacket as its a little cold out and black high heel knee high Chanel boots. You wear a gold moon and star chain the moon which connect to the end of the other side and the star dangles lower down from an extra chain, pairing with star and moon rings and earrings, as well as a gold bracelet with 2 diamonds and a ruby. Your hairs straight, you do a brown smoky eye with some mascara and a red lip.

You then made your way to the café, where you see James already seated at a table. You walk up to the table.

Y/N: Hey sorry I'm late I got stuck in traffic

Bucky: It's okay you're not late I came a bit early *He reassures you*

Y/N: *You sit down* Did you order yet?

Bucky: No I was waiting for you *He smiles*

Y/N: That's sweet of you, let's order then *You smile*

You'll order some coffee and a pastry each.

Bucky: So are you from New York?

Y/N: No, I'm from a small town in Virginia called Mystic Falls, you?

Bucky: Born here in Brooklyn actually *He says proudly*

Y/N: That's nice, I haven't really been there yet

Bucky: It's been a long time I've been there myself *He laughs* So what brought you to New York?

Y/N: School, I got accepted here in culinary school *You say nervously*

Bucky: Wow, that's amazing, so you're studying to be a chef, what do you like to cook or bake?

Y/N: *Your face brightens up* Thanks, yeah...erm put me on the spot here *You laugh nervously* I've always loved baking more and I love making chocolate and all types of cupcakes mainly cause the cakes my mum's favourite and the cupcakes my best friends, as for food I'd say roast chicken and pasta in the white sauce with veg *You say smiling*

Bucky: That's sweet, I like chocolate cake as well *He smiles*

Y/N: Let me show you the cake I baked for one of my best friend's birthday *You show him the cake you baked for Stefan*

Bucky: That looks amazing, you made that! *He says in amazement*

Y/N: Yeah, I was 17 when I did *You laugh*

Bucky: And you're...??

Y/N: 20 now *You laugh nervously* It's fine to ask my age, I'm not those types that squeal about it. So what do you do?

Bucky: I work for an agency called S.H.E.I.L.D

Y/N: That's interesting, what do you do there? *You ask curiously*

Bucky: Just basic training

Y/N: Training? *A confused look crosses your face*

Bucky: Combat skills, I don't do field work, I train/ teach the students

Y/N: Wow, so you saying you're a good fighter maybe we can go one on one sometime *You smile*

Bucky: You fight? *He says surprised*

Y/N: Yeah my mum's the Sheriff of my town, she taught me along with some help from my best friend who took it as a hobby

Bucky: So not just beauty and brains but strength to *He smiles, causing you to blush*

Y/N: I'm a whole package *You giggle*

You'll continue to talk and get to know each other. You'll even agreed to go on another date.

3 Months later:

You've been doing great in school. You see Kai every Tuesday for lunch, who's doing some college courses and has a apartment near you, while Katherine and Stefan drop by every now and then. Elijah kept to his word and has come twice a month to visit you along with daily calls. You have been dating James (Bucky) for just over 2 months now, he asked you to be his girlfriend after your third date. You're currently in his apartment since he wanted to cook for you. You just entered his apartment.

Bucky: How was your day? *He asks with a smile*

Y/N: It was good we were taught to make Ratatouille de Provence and True Vanilla ice cream *You smile* And yours?

Bucky: It was okay..

He's interrupted by you'll hearing banging on the door.

Bucky: Shit they found me *He says under his breath*

Y/N: *You look at him hearing what he said* What's going on? Who? *You ask nervously*

Bucky: Hydra *He looks at you worry written all over his face* we have to get out of here

That's when something gets thrown through the window, Bucky kicks it away from you'll. He then pulls you back and behind mattress as it exploded. He then looks at you.

Bucky: There's no way out *He says looking around* Stay behind me *He says in a worried tone*

Y/N: Shhh *You look at him hoping he'd trust you* Invisique *You snap your fingers*

Bucky: What are you doing? *He asks confused*

Y/N: Can we get out of here first?

That's when Hydra agents break through the windows, coming into the apartment.

Hydra Agent: Their not here *He says to the other*

Bucky: *Look at you shocked* How? *He questioned*

Y/N: Come on *You walk towards the door, Bucky following*

You'll leave undetected. A few blocks away you'll go into a shop, where you'll get new clothes and change.

Bucky: We need to get to the Avengers Tower and you have some explaining to do

Y/N: You're the last person that should be asking for an explanation *You snap back, angry he lied to you*

Bucky: Let's just get to the Avengers Tower and we can talk there *He says calmly*

Y/N: Fine, come on *You say annoyed*

You'll take a cab to the Avengers Tower and walk in.
