Chapter 64: Dad...

Later that night Clint takes you home since you were barely able to stop crying let alone stand straight. You're completely devastated. Once you've composed yourself you go inside, you then shower and change. You wear a black tank top with blue jeans and a lilac knitted jersey over with some black, white and lilac Nike high tops. You put on your black and gold butterfly jewellery set that Tony got you, that consists of earrings, necklace, ring, bracelet and watch. You do some natural makeup and then leave for Tony and Pepper's.

Pepper: Y/N you didn't need to come here.. *She says taking holding your hand as you'll sit on the couch*

Y/N: I needed to make sure you're okay.. I was so invested in myself I didn't.. *You say ashamed*

Pepper: He was your dad Y/N... he loved you so much and you loved him, if you didn't react the way you did I'd think you'd have turned it of *She says in a comforting mum tone*

Y/N: I wanted to but I thought of Ella, Hope, Morgan and you *You say lowering your head ashamed of your thoughts*

Pepper: *She gives you a soft smile* I'm glad you didn't, you're strong

Y/N: Thanks Pepper, are you okay? Is there anything I can do? *You ask with concern*

Pepper: The next few days I'm going to be busy with the funeral arrangements, can you take Morgan till the funeral?

Y/N: Of course, is there anything I can do to help you or for the funeral?

Pepper: No but if I need any help I'll let you know *She smiles*

Y/N: Okay... you shouldn't stay here alone maybe..

Pepper: Peter and May are coming tomorrow to stay *She reassures you*

Y/N: Okay... just know I'm here if you need anything *You smile*

Pepper: That goes for you to, he meant a lot to you and you to him *She says in a caring tone*

Y/N: Thank you Pepper

Pepper: Now I think you need to rest, I can make the guest room

Y/N: No it's fine, I live next door remember *You let out a soft laugh*

Pepper: *She lets out a laugh matching yours* Oh yeah

Y/N: I'll see you tomorrow morning to pick Morgan up *You smile*

Pepper: See you tomorrow

You go home where Damon just held you and whispered sweet things till you fell asleep. You had barely any sleep from nightmares, Damon took care of you and made sure you're okay. Around 10am Damon accompanies you to pick Morgan up. The next few days you push your feeling aside focusing on the girls and helping Pepper. Rebekah, Cami, Freya and Keelin have been trying to help you but you just brush them of causing them along with everyone else to worry about you. It's now the day before Tony's funeral, you're looking for your dress. Damon walks into your room.

Damon: You okay? Do you need any help?

Y/N: No... Yes... Maybe... I can't find my dress for tomorrow... for the... funeral... and dad's.... gone... *You start to stutter frantically*

Damon: Hey it's okay, come here... *He pulls you into a hug*

Y/N: Why didn't he tell me... I... I could have stopped him.. *You cry in his arms*

Damon: He just did what he thought was right baby.. *He says comfortingly*

Y/N: But I could have snapped, I would have survived...

Damon: Well we don't know that baby, remember that's why you'll got Bruce to snap instead of Thor *He says caressing your hair*

Y/N: But he could have at least told me... *You breakdown in his arms*
