The next few days you'll finish going through all the leads and return to Mystic Falls. 

Ella: Mum, you're back! *She says with excitement* 

Y/N: *You smile* Yes, we're back

Ella: Did you speak to dad about...

Kol: *Cuts her off as he walks in holding a blood bag* Your boyfriend, yes, she did

Ella: Hi... Dad... *She says with a nervous laugh* 

Kol: Hello, my little darling *He smiles* 

Ella: So *She smiles nervously*

Y/N: Shall we tell her? *You look at Kol with a smile* 

Kol: Maybe you should... *He smiles*

Ella: Tell me what? *She laughs nervously* 

Y/N: Your dad wants to meet Nick 

Ella: Okay...

Kol: So, we decided to invite him for dinner Saturday night

Ella: Okay, I'll tell him, thanks mum and dad, you're the best!

Kol: After I meet him, I'll decide his fate, if he can be your boyfriend

Y/N: Kol... *You look at him with a stern look* 

Kol: I have to make sure he's good enough *He shrugs* 

Ella: That's fine dad, you'll see he is a good guy, I promise *She says positively*

Ella: So how did the trip go? Did any leads come through? 

Y/N: Unfortunately, no

Ella: Is there anything I can do to help? 

Kol: You can't go looking for leads *He says in a stern tone* 

Ella: I didn't say that dad, I just want to know if there's anyway I can help

Y/N: Maybe just be there for Lizzie and Josie *You say with a smile* 

Ella: I can do that, when are you'll going to tell them? 

Y/N: We're going to tell them tomorrow morning? 

Ella: Then I'll be ready and waiting with their favourite snacks and movies. I'll ask Hope to help

Y/N: That's a great idea honey

The next day you, Kol, Hope, Alaric & Caroline meet with Lizzie & Josie to let them know what's going on as promised. 

Y/N: Listen there's still a lot of leads for us to go through so don't lose hope

Josie: We understand Aunt Y/N but...

Lizzie: It's just frustrating and upsetting, we're running out of time *She says in frustrated tone* 

Alaric: Sweetheart you're not, the merge will only happen when you both turn 21

Y/N: Exactly, we have time to go through all the leads, and we will find something *You says in reassuring tone* 

Caroline: Why don't you'll go rest for a bit *She smiles* 

Josie: Okay mum, thanks Aunt Y/N and Uncle Kol

They leave and you'll discuss the next steps. You'll then go home. The next few days you go back to teaching your classes. It's now Friday afternoon and you're just about to leave when someone walks in.
