Heaven's Message For Hell

A few months passed. By now, Lucifer's shelter had grown into a house and then a castle. With what angelic powers he had left, he used to command whatever unruly wildlife he found. Of course, God had been watching his son. And he had to admit. He was somewhat impressed. It was a shame he had to cast him out of Heaven. However, seeing him now gave him an idea. Another problem had been bothering him. And now he saw a solution.

When the time was right, God paid his boy a little visit. Naturally, he wasn't happy seeing his old man. But he hadn't come to quarrel. Not wanting to waste time, God silenced his son for a minute while he spoke. He had a proposition for Lucifer. This realm below the surface had been created long ago when "those" humans had started making themselves known. Their pride was pathetic, and God didn't want them tainting the other living. And he certainly didn't want them polluting Heaven once they died. Thus, he has created this new place. But it had never been developed. Until now, their souls were hanging somewhere between life and death. But they couldn't be trapped forever. God offered his son this place. He called it Hell. It would be his to rule and mold to his liking. All souls rejected by Heaven would be sent to Hell from now on. And as the ruler, he could do whatever he wanted with them.

Once Lucifer was allowed to speak, the first thing he did was curse his father. But God expected it. He waited for an answer. He thought and eventually agreed. Having his own stomping grounds didn't seem like a bad idea. And to somewhat compensate his son for kicking him out, God promised a little something extra very soon. With that, he vanished. Lucifer stood there gazing at the dark red skies. The name "Hell" had a nice ring to it. And if there was one thing he and his father agreed on, it was that "those" Humans needed to be punished. Lucifer was just as disgusted by them as God. He was going to have a lot of fun from now on.
