A week or so passed since Michael's visit to Hell. Now it was God's turn. Of course, he had no idea his son had also been swooping in. And semi-frequently at that. No way would he have allowed it if he had known. But he digressed. God stood before his mirror and fixed his hat and shiny boots. Damn, he looked good. With a grin, he left his wife in charge and departed for Hell. The cloud barrier was heavy today. God stood at the edge and gazed at the thick condensation. He hadn't planned for storms or even wind and rain. But whatever. Micromanaging the weather didn't interest him in the least. With a look over his shoulder, he stepped off and plunged through the atmosphere.

After a few minutes, God slowly descended into Hell. He quickly dawned a disguise and made his way to the castle. He noticed a few things along the way. The clock tower had been rebuilt, and a few new companies were trying to make it big. He had to admit. It was pretty quaint. But he hadn't come for sightseeing. God arrived at the castle minutes later and knocked. Charlie had been expecting him and was waiting in the foyer. She welcomed him in, and they sat down with tea and refreshments. But she was prepared today. Her sweet smile masked the anger. She kept her composure as they discussed Hell, the hotel, and the rings. God realized Hell was more interesting than he had given it credit for. Lucifer had done an excellent job. And with Charlie taking over, things could be better. He didn't know she had redacted her initial plans to redeem demons and help them get into Heaven. He had no idea Michael had told her everything.

But for now, Charlie was only interested in learning more about her father. God told her many stories from his childhood and training to become a Seraphim. It was also a distraction from talking about the hotel and the drastic changes. Her dream hadn't changed. She still wanted to help demons. But the series of smaller goals had been rewritten.
