Two days had passed, and God still wasn't home. Michael was very busy. He took the opportunity to hack back into the forbidden wing. This time, however, he brought friends. He knew nobody would believe his father had been doing such things unless they saw it for themselves. So, he started small and led his closest and most friends into the mysteries. They were shocked. With so much proof, it was clear that God was not all he made himself out to be. Michael gave his friends a crash course tour, and they quickly left. They needed to talk.

After calming down with a meal and drink, Michael and his friends sat in one of the castle's meeting rooms. They needed a plan. None dared to spit in God's face like Lucifer blatantly. But they had other options in their arsenal. First, they needed more on their side. They set up an underground information network. Once they had enough, they needed to hold a secret meeting for a more serious discussion. Part of this step was showing the others the forbidden wing in small groups. Next was, hopefully, getting advice from Lucifer himself. As the original troublemaker, he knew how to take on God. Sure he had failed. But he had also unquestionably left his mark. Some still talked about him. He had made an impression. As the quick meeting drew close, Michael thought about his brother. He shook his head. To pull this off, he would need a pack.

A note from the author: "The Hound of Heaven" was a poem by English poet Francis Thompson in 1893. In it, God is "hunting" the speaker to lead him to a better life. This parallels a hunting dog pursuing his prey (specifically a hare in the poem). More recently, I came across this title after watching "The Devil Conspiracy," where Michael is called this as he attempts to stop Lucifer from walking upon the living world.
