It had been quite some time since Lucifer had done some reflecting. But it was a dreary day with not a lot going on. As he wandered the halls of his castle, his thoughts turned to the day he had decided to stand up to his father. Everyone in Heaven had put him on such a high pedestal because he ran the show. But he had known better. Lucifer had never admired his father for anything. Well, there were a few things. But they weren't important in the big picture. With a heavy sigh, Lucifer thought about the first time he had broken into the forbidden wing of the castle. He had been thinking about starting a revolution, but that day made it clear. On that day, Lucifer's eyes were opened more than before. It was then that his rebellion began. He finally had a goal. No matter what, he would overthrow God and show Heaven and the living world what he had done. There was nothing extraordinary or fantastic about him. Nothing at all. And the world had the right to know the truth about their divine idol.

But things had been difficult. They hadn't ended well. As evidenced by Lucifer now in Hell. While he had had many allies by his side, fighting his father was no small feat. He was God, after all. But he had peaked behind the curtains. Lucifer knew. And somehow, he had known that his father had also known. Or at least he had some suspicions. Lucifer had never had any goals until then. Funny how knowing the truth about his father immediately changed everything in one day. And also led to him being disowned and kicked out of Heaven forever. Not that Lucifer had cared. It wasn't like his home realm had much for him in the beginning.
