God was sitting at his desk in his new office. Before him stood a team of angelic spies. According to them, Michael had been exhibiting suspicious behavior recently. They handed in their reports. God read them as they accounted many instances of his son being seen near the forbidden wing of the old castle. Along with their testaments, a handful of civilians also witnessed the prince acting shady. Naturally, God was not pleased. He couldn't believe his son would do something like this. Well, it was more like he wouldn't believe it. He had raised Michael very carefully after giving up on Lucifer. There was no way Michael would disobey him. It was impossible. God dismissed his spies and sat in dead silence. They had to be wrong. It had to be a mistake. He had raised his son better than this. He thought about how much he had put into raising Michael right. He had done all he could to ensure he wouldn't become like Lucifer, even isolating the two from one another as much as possible. God didn't want to believe his favored son was a traitor like the other. He couldn't believe it. But if the rumors were indeed true, he had to act fast. But first, he had to ask Michael himself.
