The Ungreatfulness of Humans

The day of reckoning came. High above the clouds, God was more than displeased. He was through with mercy. Every one of "those Humans" was on his list. He had created them exactly how he wanted them. He had worked so hard, and they were so ungrateful, not to mention disrespectful. They had gotten the bright idea to change what they were born as. They didn't appreciate what they were given. It was sickening. God had had enough of this. It was time to crack down for real. A purge seemed to be the only way to terminate the cockroaches. The time for second chances was gone. They had ruined their last opportunity for salvation. Only damnation was left. There was no future anymore.

God left Michael in charge for the day and descended upon the living world. Thus began the purge. One county after another, he hunted down every last one. They were immediately banished to Hell without question. It didn't matter what their personal circumstances were. They had thrown away their right to live once they had decided to change what they were born as and meant to be. Down in Hell, there was a deeper part that only God and Lucifer knew about. It was perfect for these people who were worse than sinners. Lucifer watched as one soul after another was sent to eternal suffering and damnation. He had never agreed with his father about anything. But one rare thing they shared was their hate for this kind of abomination to life. This topic was the only time they had real conversations. Lucifer chuckled. A part of him missed those talks. But that was all in the past. By the end of the day, every nation had been cleansed.

God returned to Heaven when his job was complete. He was exhausted. But he felt great as he helped himself to a drink. He had made sure all of them were eliminated. Not a single one was spared. And he knew Lucifer would ensure they would remain trapped in the deepest shadows of Hell. It was what they deserved. He chuckled and wondered if a little visit to his disowned son would be worth it. Seeing the damned souls being punished would be a nice father-son bonding time. With this thought in mind, he sent an Executioner to Hell with a letter for his devilishly chaotic boy. After all, a little family reunion between them couldn't hurt. They had a lot to catch up on.
