Steves POV:

We sat in the SUV, everyone silent. I look over to Charlie. She was bruised and beaten. She too on a lot today, I couldn't express more how proud and grateful I am for her. But seeing her with her head down and a glazed look, road rash all over, three cut marks on her face, pale.....It broke my heart. I needed to talk to her, make sure she was okay but she wasn't responding to anything

"So, you like cats?" I hear same ask, not even this made her smile

"Sam." I said sternly, now ws not the time

"What? Dude shows up dressed like a cat and you don't wanna know more?" Sam said

" Your suit . . . t's Vibranium? It took a lot to get through o you with the lighting." Charlie finally spoke, looking at the king. I could see her eyes and hurt was written across them.

"The Black Panther has been the protector of Wakanda for generations. A mantle, passed from warrior to warrior. And now, because your friend murdered my father, I also wear the mantle of king. So, I ask you . . . as both warrior and king . . . how long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me?" Tchalla said directing this towards her, she held up a fight with him. He knew she would be the one hardest to get through.

Charlies POV:

We are led out of the SUV and Steve and I look over to Bucky

"What's gonna happen to him?" I ask out loud

"Same thing that ought to happen to you two. Psychological evaluation and extradition." Ross spoke to Steve and I. I looked up to Ross with a blank face

"This is Everett Ross, Deputy Task Force Commander." Sharon Spoke, all I gave was a nod in response

" I better not look out the window and see anybody flying around in that." Sam said as his wings are taken away

"As for you" Ross started turning to me "Do not try a damn thing. If you do, you'll be locked up like your friend over there" He said harshly. I held his glare and nodded

"Yes sir" I said blankly

"You'll be provided with an office instead of a cell. Now, do me a favor, stay in it?" Ross stated

"For the record, this is what making things worse looks like." Nat said to us

"He's alive." Steve spoke trying to make some good come out of this

"Try not to break anything while we fix this." Nat spoke

"Consequences? You bet there'll be consequences. Obviously you can quote me on that 'cause I just said it. Anything else? Thank you, sir." Tony spoke over the phone as Steve and I stood

"'Consequences'?" Steve asked

"Secretary Ross wants you three prosecuted. Had to give him something." Tony said. I couldn't help but think, were we still a team or was that all thrown out the window, all that time all that bonding. I never had a real family. My dad gone my mom hated me. no friends. I finally get some and then this happens. But no matter what I will stand for what's right and I will stand by my husbands side.

"I'm not getting that shield back, am I?" steve spoke I could tell he was as disappointed as i was. We led Bucky right into their arms

"Technically, it's the government's property. Wings, too." Nat said

We told in a glass office for awhile I kept looking out and around. I didn't want to sit, I couldn't. My mind was everywhere. I turn and lock eyes with Steve he comes over and pulls me in for a hug.
