Steves POV:
We ran up to Thor and Thanos. There was a change in the wind and Thanos's Gauntlet was diminished.
You could see the rmemanents of the stones, the time stone included. My heart sank to the very bottom. He got the stone from them. What was the cost?
"WHAT'D YOU DO?!" Thor yelled angrily but Thanos vanishes
"Where'd he go? Thor... where'd he go?" I said holding my side in pain. It hurt but it didnt hurt more in the realization that there was a high chance my wife was dead.
"Steve?" Bucky says and I turn to him, He starts to dissolve almost and my heart rate picks up. I run towards him but he's gone. I looked over the field and watched as many bodies dissolved into the air. My breath caught in my throat.
We lost.
I lost my family. And i didnt know Charlies fate. She could be dead because of Thanos, Gone into ashes, or still alive. There was a 2/3 chance she was gone. And with this thought I screamed in agony. The love of my life gone along with my teammates and half the universe. My heart was heavy. Nat must have realized the same thing as she collapsed on the ground and shook.
Charlies POV:
Peter helped me up and we both helped Tony, Though I wasn't feeling any stronger, I needed to act like I was for the team.
:Something... is... happening." Mantis says and we look over to her as she disintegrates. At this sight my arm grabs onto Peter even harder
"Quill?" Drax says as he too is gone
We look to quill and see the horror in his face, he too then begins to disappear
"Steady, Quill." Tony says trying to calm him in his last moments
"Tony, there was no other way." Strange says before looking at me and nodding. I get a strange feeling in my hand and when I look at it I notice it was because Peter too was beginning to disappear
"Guys? I don't feel so good..." Peter said falling to the ground. Tony and I quickly got onto our knees and puled Peter close to us. I held onto him with dear like nd stroked his hair.
"You're all right." Tony said to him holding back the tears. Mine fell freely down my face as I tried to comfort Peter
" I don't know what's -- I don't know what's happening. I don't-- " Peter says as he begins to cry.
"I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go, Mr. Stark, please. Please Charlie, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go... " Peter cries out causing Ton and I to look at each other in sorrow
"Peter it will be okay, Ive got you" I told him as I pulled him closer
"Im sorry" Peter says as he disintegrates in our arms
We looked at where Peter used to be in disbelief, the tears falling rapidly
"He did it." The blue lady said. I looked up at the sky the tears falling even faster
"im so sorry Steve, Im so sorry" I cried out.
