Though my cough still lingered, I was finally better. Andy finally let me start doing more stuff around the house and let me start going out of the house again as well.

Today, we had gone shopping together. For once, instead of me and Karen doing shopping, Andy and I went shopping so he could get a few new outfits for upcoming appearances.  He of course loved his custom outfits but he wanted lowkey outfits for the TV appearances.

We were currently in a store in downtown LA. My voice was still rough so I sounded like a dude every time I spoke to my husband in the clothing store.

He had just gone into the dressing room and was trying on some of the shirts he picked out.

I was waiting on a bench for him to pop out and show me the first shirt.

There were a few other people in the store with us. Thank goodness no one had noticed who Andy was.

"Darling," Andy commented as he opened the door.

He had on a royal blue button-down. Blue was Andy's color in my opinion.

"I think you look really, good love. I love that color on you," I told him.

"I know darling why do you think I picked it out?" Andy asked smirking.

"You got to get it," I replied to him.

"Done," Andy replied as he shut the door to change to the other one he picked out.

"A-are you Andy Gibb's wife?" some lady asked from behind me.

I froze. What could possibly go wrong?

I turn around and get ready to reply but it was just Karen.

"Karen shhh," I told her as I looked at her.

"What? No one knows but me," Karen replied as she went in for a hug.

"Yeah but you know what it is all good KC. How have you been?" I asked her as she sat down next to me.

"Good good. We have a few shows overseas coming up so I decided to shop around," Karen told me as Andy opened the dressing room door.

He was in an emerald green button-down. It made his features stand out more than ever.

"Hello, Karen! What a surprise. Darling, what about this one?" Andy asked me.

My eyes were fixated on him but I could not speak. Oh, how could this happen after all these years of being with him?

Karen nudged me.

I shook my head.

"I'm sorry you look really good in that color," I managed to speak.

Andy chuckled.

"You know how good that stare just made me feel darling?" Andy asked with a wink.

"Uh yeah let's see the next one," I commented embarrassingly.

Karen chuckled at the back-and-forth commentary with me.

Andy chuckled and went back into the dressing room as KC and I kept chatting.

"Girl I saw the look in your eye that was so cute. You got starstruck by your own husband,"  Karen teased.

I covered my face.

"Don't be embarrassed! I think you made Andy feel really special," Karen whispered to me as Andy opened the door to come out with the two shirts he was going to purchase.

"Darling so these are a yes. Was there anything else we were going to look at?" Andy asked me.

I pulled my hands off my face and looked at my husband.

"I mean not really for me. Were you wanting anything else?" I asked him.

"I just wanted some shirts that's all and I found two so I'm good darling," Andy told me.

"Then we can start heading out. Karen and I are going to chat outside while you stand in line," I told him.

"Sounds good darling," Andy replied as he headed to the registers.

Since KC didn't have anything to buy, we went outside.

"So when can we get lunch? You sound so much better than before,"  Karen commented.

"Are you free tomorrow? We could go to that one place in Downey that we always like going to," I told her.

"Yes definitely! What time?" Karen asked me.

"We could get brunch so about 10:30?" I asked her.

"I'll be there! I'll call in the morning to make sure we are still a-go for it," Karen told me.

"Sounds perfect KC," I told her as Andy came out of the store.

"Now where to darling?" Andy asked me as he came over to where Karen and I were standing.

"Honestly, I have no idea," I replied.

"I'll let you lovebirds go. See you tomorrow," Karen told me as she gave me a goodbye hug.

"See ya KC," I told her with a smile.

Karen disappeared as Andy and I stood there.

"Where else did you have in mind?" I asked Andy.

"Honestly I got the shirts I was looking for so I mean we could go grab some lunch or go home it's up to you darling," Andy suggested.

"I ain't going to say no to lunch," I joked.

"In n Out Burger or McDonald's?" Andy asked.

"You had me an In n Out," I told him as he went and opened the car door for me.

And so, we went out to have lunch. Life was comfortable for the time being.
