For Valentines Day this year, Andy planned a trip out to San Diego for us to get away from everything.

We had gone to the beach and visited Old San Diego. We were currently back at the hotel freshening up.

"What dress should I wear?" I asked my husband who was currently buttoning up a shirt.

He was wearing blue-my favorite color that he wore.

"Well darling they said the winds may pick up closer around 8 tonight so maybe go for the longer one," Andy suggested.

"Good idea love," I commented as I slipped the maxi dress on.

"And you'll match me," Andy replied smirking.

"Yes that is true," I commented.

Andy turned to look at me.

"I thought that would be a pretty choice. It shows off you in all the right places," Andy replied as he looked me up and down.

"Uhm," I replied blushing.

"Darling, don't blush," Andy replied as he came and wrapped two arms around me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Just because I complimented you, you blushed," Andy teased.

I rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see it.

"Andy," I scolded.

"What darling?" Andy asked as he trailed his hands up my sides.

"If you keep acting this way, we ain't going to get to those dinner reservations later," I told him.

"What no dessert first?" Andy joked as he left a kiss on my cheek.

"Love," I said sternly as I wiggled out of his embrace.

"I can't be a bit frisky at all? Not even on Valentine's Day? Pssht," Andy replied as he followed me to the bathroom mirror.

The dress I was wearing had this weird tie string. Either I could tie it to the side or the back.

"I didn't necessarily say no but I mean not right now you cannot. I have to finish getting ready," I told my husband who was now standing behind me.

He was grinning which was not a good sign.

I tried to tie it to the back and then asked my husband's opinion.

"Does it look ok this way?" I asked him.

I knew his answer would be playful.

Andy looked me up and down with a smirk.

"I think it would look better untied," was Andy's comment.

"Stop being so raunchy!" I said as I smacked his chest as I proceeded to walk away.

"Darlingggggg," Andy called towards me.

"You dirty boy!" I scolded again as I went to brush my hair out.

I wasn't worried about my hair because I had it in a sleek back pony all day and it just need to be smoothed out.

"I, well, I am a dirty boy," Andy commented as he stood by me.

"Yes, you are good golly I just want to be able to eat and enjoy our dinner reservations you said we had," I replied frustrated.

I mean I wasn't too upset he was acting so turned on but I honestly just wanted to have a nice romantic date at this one restaurant. It had been on our bucket list for a while now.

Andy had sat down on the bed while I sprayed perfumed.

He just was watching me.

"Are you going to behave? Or am I going to the dinner reservation by myself?" I asked as I found my purse.

Andy pouted.

"Are you going to be mean to me?" Andy asked with a pout.

I rolled my eyes.

"Please stop you are being silly," I told him as I held his face in my hand.

"I promise to behave until later," Andy remarked.

I shook my head.

"You have to behave love. I cannot have you making moves in the middle of the restaurant," I told him while I chuckled.

"Not even a kiss?" Andy asked as he pulled me to sit down next to him gently.

"Ok, that is a wee bit dramatic. I don't mind kisses in public you know that," I told him.

"I was just teasing," Andy replied.

"I know you are dramatic," I replied poking him.

Andy begin doing the same hand movement of trailing up my sides.

"Jesus christ what have I told you?" I replied jumping up and moving in front of him.

"I-I was just testing the waters," Andy replied quietly.

"Now you have really done it. No lovings," I told him sternly.

"But I'll be breaking my new year's resolution," Andy replied.

"I don't care we have dinner reservations in two hours," I calmly replied.

Andy looked like he was contemplating an idea and then I knew he was going to strike.

Andy slowly walked up to me.

"Love I swear to god don't ruin my dress or makeup," I told him.

"You can't let me break my news years resolution," Andy replied as he picked me up bridal style.

I gasped as he walked us back to the bed.

"I told you you have to wait," I told Andy.

"But  I can't wait," Andy replied kissing my face.

Andy gently placed me back on the bed and just stared at me.

"But the dinner reservations," I pleaded.

"We can have dinner and dessert in here," Andy whispered quietly.

"Noooo," I commented as I rushed to the room door with my purse.

Andy frowned but followed my lead.

"Ok fine dessert later is all then," Andy replied smirking as grabbed the hotel key and his wallet for the reservation.

"Yes I mean if I want to do that but you've really misbehaved today," I told him as we headed to the elevators.

Andy placed his hand on my lower back as we walked.

"I'm still needy that's all. You are my remedy," Andy commented as we waited for the elevator doors to open.

He was being truthful-at least I hoped he was.

As we rode the elevator down to the lobby, Andy kept his arms wrapped around me.

"I will always be your remedy," I finally replied after watching the elevator floor buttons light up as we arrived in the lobby.

"I hope dinner goes quickly," Andy commented as he grabbed my hand and we headed out the doors of the hotel.

I smacked his arm to his dismay.

"Your the one who is my new year's resolution," Andy replied chuckling.

I sighed at his comment.

What a holiday it would be with my husband.
