"You know John and Tiffany have other friends and family that will have got them this stuff?" Andy chuckled as I packed up a little gift bag full of baby stuff.
Tiffany, John's wife as you recall, gave birth to a baby boy about a month ago. Of course at the baby shower, I took stuff but when Karen and I went out shopping, I couldn't stop myself from buying stuff for the baby.
"Yes I know that but I couldn't help myself," I told him.
He chucked again.
"Darling you do too much for everyone," he remarked.
"I know but these little onesies are to die for. Tiffany is going to appreciate it," I told him as I put tissue paper around the little toys.
He smiled at me.
"I can only imagine when we have kids how loved and spoiled they are gonna be," Andy remarked.
I smiled at his remark.
"You think I'm a bit extra? Karen will be EXTREME. She will definitely be a godmother to one of our kiddos one day," I told him.
"Aunt Karen sounds so formal," Andy joked.
"Yeah, but she'll be the best aunt next to my sister. Oh and of course Berri your sister too. Lesley lives so far away in Australia it will be harder for her to be involved," I told him.
Andy smiled.
"That's gonna be the cutest thing," he remarked.
"Anywho I'm gonna drop this off in the morning on John's desk," I told Andy.
"So besides gift wrapping today, what else was on your agenda?" Andy asked curiously as he mindlessly watched my actions.
"Well I was gonna go and wash my car just cause the rain has just made my car dirtier than anything," I remarked.
"We could team tag and get both of our cars done?" Andy asked.
"Sure," I told him as I grabbed the pen to sign the card for Tiffany and John.
Andy disappeared to the garage temporarily while I put Tiffany and John's gift by the front door so I wouldn't forget it in the morning.
I went upstairs to change into some lazy clothes that I didn't care about if they got ruined or dirty.
Andy came up after a few.
"I got all the supplies gathered," Andy remarked as he unbuttoned his shirt to change like I did.
"Okie dokie," I remarked as I went to put my hair up so it wouldn't get totally wet.
Andy changed and we both headed back downstairs.
"No funny business. I mean do not spray me unwarranted," I told him as we went outside.
Andy chuckled.
"You think I would do such a thing?" he asked dramatically.
I flicked his arm.
"Yes, yes I do," I replied as I turned the water hose on and filled a bucket up to make soapy water.
"How dare you," Andy joked.
"Shut up," I told him jokingly.
He looked at me.
"Okay," he remarked as he kissed me.
"Of course, that would be your move to be quiet," I chuckled as I pulled away.
I realized he had the hose in his hand.
"Don't you dare," I remarked as I made a dash for safety behind my car.
"I ain't gonna spray you," he told me.
I didn't believe a word he said.
I ran to grab the soapy bucket and my car sponge.
"Let's actually clean the cars please?" I begged with my puppy dog eyes.
He chuckled.
"Those damn eyes make me weak darling," Andy told me as he focused on wetting the cars down.
I got out of shooting range and stood behind Andy as he did this.
"I feel like I got a little shadow," he remarked jokingly.
"Shush I don't trust you," I said poking him.
"That's it I'm gonna get you," he remarked as he chased me around the yard with the hose.
I had the soapy sponge in my hand and kept flicking the soap water at him.
He hadn't sprayed me, yet.
"I surrender stop," I told him as I put my hands up.
Andy laughed.
"I was just teasing darling I wasn't gonna really spray you," he remarked as he put the hose down.
I smiled as I realized this was my chance to get him.
I pretended to tie my shoe but grabbed the hose instead.
"Just a little rain shower won't hurt you," I remarked as I gave him a quick mist.
He shrieked at the coolness of the water as I made a dash around the cars.
"You," he remarked as he came up to me and wrapped me in an embrace from behind.
"I told you I surrendered," I told him as he held me in the embrace.
He laughed. He wasn't mad or anything.
"You really got me, darling," Andy commented.
"Yessum," I remarked to him.
"How am I gonna get you?" he asked.
"You already did," I replied.
He laughed.
"No no I mean like get back at you for that little stunt you pulled. Maybe it will be a surprise," he joked.
I chuckled as he kept the embrace around me.
"I see," I remarked as I tried to wiggle out of the embrace.
Andy let go of the embrace. He kept laughing.
"What's so funny?" I asked him.
"I shouldn't have put the hose down. I should have known that you would have done that," he chuckled as he picked the hose up to finish wetting the cars.
I flicked his chest.
"You love me don't you?" I asked with a pout.
"Of course darling with all my heart," he told me as he had a mischievous look on his face.
I knew I was gonna regret what I did earlier.
"Just do it," I told him.
He chuckled.
"Do what?" he asked me.
"Just spray me for retaliation," I told him as I covered my eyes.
"I wouldn't dare," Andy said.
"I said do it," I told him as I still covered my eyes.
Instead of him spraying me directly, he aimed the hose at the sky.
I shivered at the water hitting my skin.
"See I ain't so mean darling," Andy commented.
I smiled at his comment.
"You're crazy," I told him.
"But you love it," he remarked.
A little bit of love will change your life.
