"Darling I think you gotta pack warmer clothes than that," Andy told me.

I was currently finishing packing for our trip. I had gotten out of work early and decided since next week is coming faster than anything, I'd be prepared.

But, sitting in my suitcase was my cute spring clothes. I knew it would be cold but tights and a coat would solve the problem.

"You still haven't told me what we are doing in Utah so how am I supposed to pack accordingly?" I asked Andy.

Andy walked over to my suitcase and begin pulling things out.

"If I must lead you on to what and where we are going, these won't do good in snow. You need some sort of pants," Andy said holding up the four dresses I had packed already.

"But," I begin to reply.

"You can keep them because if we go out to dinner, you want to look pretty I know," Andy replied chuckling.

I giggled too.

"Ok, so all the new sweatshirts and tops I bought last week with Karen are doable then?" I asked Andy.

"Yes darling," Andy replied.

And so, I went to my closet and started piecing outfit ideas together. I'd pack 2 smaller sweaters in case my coat was too much.

"So what are we doing on the trip?" I tried asking once more for my husband to spill the tea.

Andy chuckled and shook his head.

"Perhaps a little skiing or a drive through the mountains," Andy said quietly.

"Ohhhhh." I replied.

"No one has spoiled anything, have they?" Andy asked.

"Karen hasn't said a word," I replied as I looked for some scarves and gloves to pack.

"I'm glad she hasn't," Andy replied.

"She's pretty good at keeping secrets I mean," I replied as I found my beanies to pack.

"I just want everything to go perfectly darling," Andy replied with a sigh.

"And it will. Even if it's perfectly imperfect," I replied to Andy who was now sitting on the bed next to my suitcase.

Andy smiled.

"So what else do you have planned for this evening darling?" Andy asked me.

"After I am done packing, I would like to take advantage of being home early and get ready for bed," I told him.

"I think that's a marvelous idea darling," Andy replied.

"I'm glad things are back to normal for now," I replied.

"Me too darling. I'm glad that the store had its grand reopening and I am proud of you," Andy commented.

"Awwww," I replied as I went to zip my suitcase and put it away temporarily.

"Are you done packing for now?" Andy asked.

"Yes love I am for now," I replied as I put my suitcase in the closet.

"Now go get ready for bed," Andy urged.

I chuckled. He really wanted an early night to bed.

I gathered my stuff to shower. I was set to be off the next few days as my old schedule kicked in.

I was in the shower when I heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"What?" I asked as I peeped my head out of the shower.

Andy popped his head in.

"Darling, did you want your tea tonight?" Andy asked sweetly.

I giggled.

"Of course love, it's not right without my nightly tea," I replied as I dried my eyes.

"Ok darling I'll go get it made," Andy replied as he shut the door.

I chuckled as I went to finish washing my hair and the rest of my routine.

I finished my routine and went to look for my husband.

He was stirring our cups of tea at the kitchen counter.

"Are they super hot?" I asked as  I approached the kitchen.

Andy jumped.

"Darling you scared me," Andy chuckled.

"I'm sorry," I said as I wrapped my arms around him.

"It's ok darling," Andy replied as he finished stirring our tea.

"You got ready for bed fast," I told Andy.

He was already in his pajamas. But, tonight he didn't wash his hair thank god.

"I just want us to relax darling. Things are normal for now until we go to Utah next week," Andy replied as I unwrapped my arms from around him.

I sighed.

"Good point love," I replied.

"Now let's go to bed," Andy commented as he handed me my mug.

We walked back to our bedroom.  Biscuit was already settled in her kennel.

We settled into bed and drank our tea as we watched TV.

For a Friday night, Benson was on. We caught the last 15 minutes of it.

"Is there a Friday night movie on ABC?" I asked Andy who was currently looking at the TV Guide.

"The Babysitter is on. It's from 1980," Andy read off.

"Is it a scary movie? You know I don't do scary movies," I replied as I sipped my tea.

"It is a horror film," Andy replied.

"Then good night," I said as I put my mug down and went under the covers.

Andy laughed.

"Nooooo darling," Andy replied as he tried to find my face under the covers.

I scooted away.

"We won't watch it I promise," Andy commented as he found my face.

I sighed.

"You promise?" I asked as I looked at him.

"I promise darling. Cross my, what is it, heart and stick a needle in the rye?" Andy stated.

I burst out laughing.

"It's stick a needle in my eye, not rye," I replied as I sat up.

"Oh wait I always wondered why you'd stick a needle in rye bread," Andy replied scratching his head.

"You poor thing," I replied kissing his forehead.

"It's ok darling don't worry about me and the rye," Andy replied chuckling.

"You are too much," I said as I grabbed my mug again to finish my tea.

"Let's find something we both will wanna watch," Andy said grabbing the TV guide once more.

Here was to a quite evening with my husband.
