Christmas was in full swing. I was already done shopping for the holidays. I really wanted to focus on the little details and surprises that make Christmas what it is.

Andy had a record Christmas party tomorrow and I didn't want to show up empty-handed. So, I went and baked a bunch of cookies. While in the process, KC popped by.

"You gonna make more of these closer to Christmas? Cause you know myself and my parents love these cookies," Karen asked as she watched me plate the cookies.

I chuckled.

"Of course KC. These are a test batch for Andy's Christmas party," I told her as Andy waltzed into the kitchen.

"I smell cookies," Andy mumbled.

Karen and I laughed.

"Yeah they are done you can have from this plate," I told him.

"Did you get Karen her eggs?" Andy asked as he munched on a cookie.

"I will when she leaves," I told him as Andy went to the fridge and got a glass of milk.

Karen just smiled at the interaction.

"Anywho rumor has it, Johnny is looking for a producer for his next song. He called me and asked if me or Rich want to do it and we said yes," Karen told me.

"Oooooh that's exciting," I told her.

Andy had wandered off to the living room with cookies and milk.

"So Johnny is really making it big then," Karen told me.

"Yeah he is actually our fastest-growing artist since I started working here," I told her as I went to put the cookies on the other counter.

"That's crazy," Karen remarked.

"Right," I told her.

"Anywho I better get going. I have to be at the studio with Rich at 2," Karen told me as she stood up.

"Okie let me get you your eggs," I told her as I went to the fridge.

"Thanks," Karen told me.

And so, I handed Karen her eggs and I walked her to the door.

"Nice to see you again Karen," Andy remarked as we walked by him.

"Haha yes nice to see you too Andy," Karen replied as we walked out the front door.

"So we still will meet on Saturday for our Christmas brunch?" I asked Karen for confirmation.

"Yes of course it's tradition," Karen told me as she put her stuff in the car.

"Of course yes," I replied smiling.

"See you Saturday," Karen told me as she got into the car.

I walked back up the steps as I watched her leave.

Once KC was gone, I went back inside.

Andy was still sitting in the living room. He had finished his cookies.

"Were they good?" I asked him curiously.

"Mmmmhmm darling. You know I'm a sucker for cookies," Andy remarked as he gestured for me to sit next to him.

"So we have your Christmas party tomorrow and then John is having our Christmas party is next Saturday," I told him.

"It really is the holiday season," Andy replied happily.

"I love Christmas. I wish it was Christmas every day," I told him.

"We can make it like the holidays somehow," Andy told me.

"Like how?" I asked him curiously.

"Well, we can watch Christmas movies every night till Christmas day. We can drink hot cocoa even if it's 70 degrees outside," Andy listed off.

I smiled at his thought process.

I grabbed his hand and kissed the back of it.

"I think it's a beautiful idea," I told him.

"Then it is settled we will go to the video rental and see what Christmas movies we can rent," Andy told me.

"So tonight we can cozy up early with the tree on and watch a movie and drink our heart's content of cocoa," I remarked.

"Yes darling," Andy told me proudly.

I smiled to myself.

"You really know how to make anything extra," I replied to him.

Andy squeezed my hand gently.

"I do everything for you. You know that," Andy remarked.

"I know that. I mean for godsake I don't think I really knew what love was till I met you," I told him.

Andy turned to look at me.

"That makes me feel good inside," Andy told me with a goofy grin.

"Well, it's true. You know that," I told him as I kissed his cheek.

"Let's take tonight to start out finding," Andy told me as he kissed my hand.

A loving Christmas was in store for us.
