"You are the one who heard the demo first?" Johnny remarked as we stood in the record store.

I finally broke down and went to tell him how I was able to give him an okay that he was going to come in and talk to my boss John.

"Yes I was the first one but you got to pretend like you don't know me know me. I know John and Big Boss are brothers but like I say, the better off that it's not like I did it cause I knew you. It's cause you have a raw talent that I want the world to see," I told him.

"Thanks, sis," Johnny commented.

"I just wanted you to know cause you are like my bestest friend in the world," I told him.

Johnny smiled.

"You better get out of here before Big Boss comes in," Johnny told me as he hugged me real quick.

"See you later," I told him as I left the record store.

I honestly had to take a moment and realized like John my boss would know I knew Johnny because of the record store. How could I forget they are brothers?

I drove home but stopped by McDonalds to get 2 sodas.

Andy had a long photoshoot all morning so I thought a little pick-me-up would be nice.

As I walked in, I could smell Spam from a mile away.

"Love I'm home," I called out.

"In the kitchen," Andy hollered back.

I took my purse off and headed to find my husband in front of the stove working away.

"Hi," I told him as he turned to kiss me.

"How was your visit with Johnny?" Andy asked me as he went to flip the Spam pieces.

"Wait here," I gestured the coke towards him.

"Ooooh darling thank you," Andy told me as he grabbed the soda.

"Of course love. Also, what made you make spam?" I asked chuckling.

"There was a commercial on last night and all morning at the photoshoot all I could think of was a piece of fried spam," Andy told me as he turned the heat off the pan.

I smiled at him.

"That's funny love," I told him as I put the straw in my coke.

"Yeah so here is lunch," Andy commented as he began taking the pieces of spam out of the pan.

"Spam quesadillas sound delicious," I told him as I went to look for tortillas.

"Have we ever had those?" Andy asked me.

"Yeah I think I made them before," I commented as I went to grab the sliced cheese out of the fridge.

"Sign me up darling," Andy told me as he disappeared to the pantry.

I went and washed up before getting my pan heated up to lightly toast the tortilla before assembling the quesadillas.

"Can't forget the chips," Andy told me.

"Chips from the trip?" I asked him.

"No darling not chips from the trip. Chips we bought at that little mercantile on our way from the beach last week," Andy told me.

I laughed.

"Whoops right," I told him as I laid spam pieces in my tortilla while I layered a slice of cheese on top.

"Your silly," Andy commented.

"I know shush," I told him as I folded the quesadilla to put on the plate.

"So do you know if Johnny is gonna get signed?" Andy asked me as I handed him the plate.

"I think so I mean he has a hidden talent that none of us knew about," I told him.

"I know his voice is very refreshing," Andy told me.

I had snuck the demo home yesterday and had Andy hear it.

"He might be the next big thing. Well I hope he is," I told him

"You got an ear for talents darling. You've written songs and now discovering talents," Andy told me.

I smiled as I made my quesadilla.

"Thanks love," I told him as I went to join Andy who was now sitting down with his bag of chips.

"This diet Coke really hits the spot darling," Andy told me.

"I'm glad love," I told him as I took a bite of my quesadilla.

"I also think the spam quesadillas were a great idea," Andy told me as he wiped his mouth.

"Mmmmhmm," I told him as my mouth was full.

A mouthful of conversations to be had on this beautiful day.
