"I cannot believe of all times for it to rain, it decides to while we are camping," I grumbled as we grabbed our stuff from the picnic area and rushed into the RV we had rented.

"I didn't think it would do so darling," Andy commented.

We had been enjoying the open fire and roasting marshmallows when the winds picked up and a storm moved in.

"So now what? We are going to be stuck inside all night," I commented.

"Well that doesn't mean we can't enjoy each other's company darling," Andy told me.

"True but you don't get to see the stars or enjoy the night air like this even in our little ranch," I replied, putting away the stuff for smores.

"I know darling but we can always come back out on a different weekend here. It's not like the stars will disappear," Andy reassured.

I sighed. He was right but it always seemed like something ruined things for us.

"Well with the rain, I guess that means I'm going to go get ready for red," I told Andy.

"It's barely 9pm, darling," Andy chuckled.

"Yeah well I want to be comfy if we are going to play cards or just watch the rain falling outside our windows," I told him as I went and got my pajamas and stuff together.

The nice thing about having an RV is even though the shower pressure sucked, you could shower anytime you wanted.

"Do you think it's safe to shower?" I asked Andy who was now getting his stuff together for bed.

Andy paused and peeked out behind a curtain.

"The lightning seems to be further away so I don't see why not," Andy replied.

"Ok if I die, just bury me under the pine tree," I joked.

"Darling don't be so terrible," Andy remarked as he shook his head.

I laughed as I headed to get ready for bed.

The rain had died down to a slow and steady pour. The thunder and lightning dissipated by the time we were both ready and comfortable for the night.

"Ok, what card game do you want to play? We could do Go Fish, Gin Rummy, or Cansata," I listed off as I sat at the table.

Andy paused to think.

"Well if we want something easy so when we are ready to go to sleep we don't have that much to clean up. So let's do some rounds of Go Fish," Andy told me as he adjusted his pajama bottoms string.

"True," I commented as I shuffled the cards and began dishing out piles for us.

"How many rounds do you wanna play?" Andy asked me as he sat across from me.

"Well, it is now almost 10 so maybe 3?" I asked him.

"That sound good darling," Andy commented as he leaned over to kiss me.

"What was that for?" I asked him.

"You looked really kissable," Andy defended.

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course, I would to you loverboy," I chuckled.

"You know it," Andy replied happily.

"Ok go fish," I told him as he grabbed his stack of cards.

I had no matches yet.

"Do you have any 8's darling?" Andy asked.

I shook my head.

"Go fish love," I told him.

"Dang it," Andy commented.

I chuckled.

"Do you have any 3's?" I asked Andy.

He sighed as he reluctantly gave me the 3.

"Do you have any aces?" Andy asked me.

"Yes," I handed him the ace.

That left me with only 3 cards left. Andy still had 4. If I played it right, I could easily.

"Do you have any 2s?" I asked Andy.

Andy didn't so I went fishing.

The card I got was a 2. So now I only 1 card left.

"No darling don't tell me you are gonna win," Andy chuckled.

"Time to face the music love," I joked.

"So do you have any 9s?" Andy asked.

I smirked as I handed over the last card I had.

"Dang it darling you won," Andy chuckled as he shook his head.

"Want another round?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"You know I can't say no to those eyes," Andy commented as he handed me his cards.

He leaned over the table to steal a few kisses from me.

"You know, someone said the other day, you and I were like June Carter and Johnny Cash. Never one without the other," I commented as I shuffled the cards.

"I like that idea. We are soulmates in this lifetime," Andy commented.

"You believe in that sort of stuff?" I asked curiously.

"Of course darling," Andy commented.

"I love that," I commented as I started dishing out more cards for our next round.

"And I waited for my whole life to love someone like you and I get to do that the rest of my living and breathing years," Andy told me proudly.

"Wrap your arms around me, baby boy," I commented.

So, Andy got up and came and sat on the same side as me.

"Darling you are the one I want, forever and ever," Andy whispered.

"Even if we got married with paper rings? Well," I realized.

"I would have married you anyway," Andy told me as I gave him his stack of cards.

"Tomorrow would you do it again?" I asked him.

"Yes while you hold my hand," Andy remarked.

"Cause love is everything isn't it?" I asked as I looked to see if I had any matches.

"I've got it all planned," Andy said kissing my forehead.

What a wonderful camping trip it would be.
