Khushi Gupta and Arnav Subramaniam, 2 people who were as different as Jalebi and Payasam -the sweets famous in their respective states where they belonged. So, it wasn't really a surprise that they didn't 'gel well'. In fact, in the whole 2 years of their MBA program, the entire class of Birla Institute of management, Goa had seen how these two were constantly bickering with each other, always at loggerheads!

Khushi was from Lucknow, Uttar pradesh situated in northern India and in her own classmates' words, she was sexy, spunky, rich-spoilt brat with an amazing sense of fashion! Daughter of a famous businessman, she was also the 'class representative(C.R.)' of their class since 2 years. She made friends easily, her charms working on the male-gender while her money and style working for the girls! However, there was only one person she never tried to be friends with, Arnav Subramaniam! She hated him and his ever-present smug expression! The fact that he was extremely handsome had no impact on that conclusion!

Arnav on the other hand, was a smart-brainy-nerdy boy. He came from a very sweet, loving middle class family from Chennai, Tamil nadu situated in southern India. A master in debates and a star in chess, he was always a class-topper! But despite being in good books of most of their professors, he almost always got in trouble for just one reason - his fights with their C.R. Khushi Gupta! He hated her and her annoying over-friendliness! The fact that she had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen had no impact on it whatsoever!

Today was a special day for Arnav. There was a prestigious inter-college tournament in Mumbai and he along with some other students were going to travel by road to their destination. The college had arranged a bus from the campus itself and scheduled to start at 5am sharp, their plan was to cover the 12-hour journey and reach Mumbai by sunset. It was his last inter-college tournament, and Arnav wanted to do his best- like every time!

However, as luck would have it, he didn't get an Uber that early in the morning and was running late. Finally managing to get a lift, when he reached his college and got down from the car, he bumped into none other than the mighty-Khushi Gupta!

"What the- can't you watch your step?" he growled

In the meanwhile, the professors and other students who were in the bus waiting for these two had their strict principal give them an order to not to wait for anyone! Even if the person left behind was the class topper or the class rep! The orders to the driver were to leave sharp at 5 and currently it was 4.55 am!!!

"Tum dekh kar nahi chal sakte? Neend me ho kya? (Can't you watch your step? Or you still sleepy)" she asked in Hindi!

"What? I don't understand that fast of Hindi, talk in English." he commanded, folding his hands on his front. And his tone without an ounce of request irked her more,

"Kar sakti hoon, par ab bilkul nahi karungi (I can but now I won't)." she mirrored his pose and they continued bickering.

The loud sound of horn of their bus leaving was faded in the background!

.

.

"I can't believe this! I missed the bus." Arnav said, as they had gotten into senses after a few minutes but too late to realize the bus left them behind!
