Chapter 18

I'm not sure how that conversation ended with him going down on me until we were notified that we had a meeting to attend with Fury but I won't complain. We were definitely very late because Bucky refused to stop when Friday notified us. We stumbled into the meeting probably looking like a hot mess and I've never been happier to see Sam. It was just him in the room when we arrived and he started laughing. "At least you two are getting along now?" 

"Shut up," Bucky grumbled

"I'd say we're more than getting along, Sammy."

"Nope, do not give me any more information about what's going on between the two of you."

"There's nothing going on. Cyborg over here just keeps landing between my thighs."

"Good god."

I started to make another comment but the door opened and Fury walked in with Steve. "Please take a seat everyone," Fury told us

Steve patted Bucky on the back and pulled him to a chair, so I sat across the table from him. "Why are we here right now?" I asked

"I have a new mission for the four of you. It's going to take some time and a lot of teamwork. Do you think you can handle that?"

"No offense, I get why the three of us are here but why is she here? The three of us don't really need help from her, we've gone on missions by ourselves plenty of times. What could she possibly help us with?" Steve asked

"Fuck off Rogers." I spit

"This is the opposite of what I wanted. Mia is here because she is a crucial part of this mission and you three need to accept that." Fury countered Steve

"What's the mission and why is Mia a crucial part?" Bucky asked

"I'm glad you asked. The four of you are after a gang that is dealing leftover weapons from the attack on New York."

"I thought we just retrieved some of those on our last mission?" I quizzed

"You did but there are a lot of them floating around and this group has been known to sell a few. The issue is that to get more information we need to infiltrate the gang and gather more information. We need to know where they are getting them from and who. They hang around in a club that is rather difficult to get into. Rogers and Wilson, you are recon and you will do a lot of the work leading up to when Barnes and Stark enter the club."

"You're sending Bucky in with her?" Sam asked

"Why is she going in, in the first place?" Steve joined

"Why are we acting like I'm useless?"

"She will be spending her time trying to earn herself and her "boyfriend" an invite to the club so they can get in with the leaders and get the intel. This is going to be a long mission but it's all going to depend on how quickly Mia can get the information from them. She and Barnes are the ones completing the actual mission and you are their backup if something goes wrong."

"Where does Cyborg come into place?"

"He's your fake boyfriend. The two of you will go into the club together and get the information. Can the two of you get along for long enough to get this done?"

"We'll be fine," Bucky assured

"Just don't tell me I have to sit on his lap like an art piece."

"Exactly."

"Again no offense but why can't we take Romanoff?" Steve pipped up

"While I have no doubt that Romanoff could complete this mission, I think that Mia is going to be a better fit to send in with Barnes. She's also more of a club type, no offense."
