Bucky's POV...

I laid awake while Mia slept the rest of the night. Partly because I wasn't that tired but also because I was worried she'd have another nightmare. She slept peacefully and I just stared at her and pet Alpine. I'm so much more worried about her than I'm letting her see because I don't want to upset her. I know she's fine and I know she's going to be fine but I'm concerned about the lack of reaction to what happened. It's also a little odd that they told us she'd likely have brain damage but she seems fine. There's been a few times where she forgets a word or two but nothing that would make me believe she's had any head trauma. Especially knowing that she's been electrocuted and knowing how much it messed up my own mind. Maybe I'm reading into it but it feels like her infections have cleared up faster than they should have and a lot of her bruises went away quickly. I've even caught her using her broken wrist in ways she shouldn't be able to if it was broken. It's Hydra after all, who knows if they've replaced the serum and are back to their shit. I have to believe she doesn't know if she's been injected with super soldier serum or that I'm over thinking it. She didn't fight about walking to get breakfast, she struggled a little but made it none the less. "Are you ready to go back upstairs?" I asked her once she was done eating

"Can we go see the therapist?"

"Yeah, I think she's upstairs."

"Okay, let's go."

I tried to pick her up but she didn't let me, she took my arm and used me to help her. She seemed to be getting frustrated when we were almost there and I was trying to let her but I want to help her. "Do you want me to carry you the rest of the way?"

"No, I can do it."

"Okay but I'm happy to help if you need it. You've got physical therapy later so don't over do it before then."

"You can carry me down but I can do this."

I just helped her quietly to the room that was now totally set up like a therapists office, great. Who would've thought I'd ever be seeing a therapist, surely not me. I'd let Tony know last night we'd come see her today so she was sitting at a desk at the back of the room. "Oh hello, you must be Mia and Bucky."

"Yeah, is now okay?" She asked

"Of course, I'm here whenever you need me."

"Thanks."

"Please have a seat. Are you joining us, Bucky?"

"If Mia still wants me to."

"Yes, he's staying."

We both sat down and waited for the therapist to get her notebook before sitting down. "Alright, so is there anything specific you want to talk about today?"

"Yeah actually."

"Okay tell me about it."

"So I'm sure my dad told you everything that happened to me already."

"He got me up to speed but I'd like to hear more from you."

"Well let me give you some context here. Bucky and I hated each other when I got here but we ended up sleeping together. No wait back up, we were messing around without sleeping together because Bucky didn't want to go all the way. Then once we did start sleeping together it took forever before he would even kiss me because he was convinced that I'm too good for him. Fast forward to after we kiss, I convince him that we should date and we were happy before everything happened. Now that I'm back, I'm ready to get back to normal but he is refusing to sleep with me again."
