Chapter 47

Bucky and I had stayed up until about 4 am going between fucking and then watching movies while we recovered. It's funny to see his reaction to some of the movies out there, even ones I don't really like because he doesn't understand any of it. I've been trying to figure out what kind of movies he likes but he doesn't watch them half the time and he never understands what's going on. One of these days I'm going to show him every Disney princess movie there is so he can understand the references in other movies. I woke up first and lay there looking at his peaceful face and petting Alpine. Eventually, the urge to pee was beating the urge to stay with him so I very carefully slipped out of his bed. While I was in there I rinsed my face off and brushed my hair out since it was crazy from last night. I was halfway through putting my hair up when I heard Bucky's voice and he sounded frightened. "Mia? Mi where are you?" he panicked 

"Hey, I'm right here. I just had to pee." I told him as I came out of the bathroom, abandoning my hair

"I'm sorry, I just, I'm sorry. You can finish what you were doing." he panted

I saw the sweat beading on his forehead, his chest rising and falling quickly and the look in his eyes and I was immediately at his side. "Did you have a nightmare?"

"I'm fine, don't worry about me."

"Please talk to me, I'm right here and I want to understand."

"You don't have to ask, let's just forget about it."

I huffed and moved so I was straddling his lap with his face between both of my hands and our eyes locked. "I want to know, I want to be here for you and I need you to talk to me like I'm your girlfriend not just a fuck-buddy. You're my best friend Buck and I need you to rely on me the way even best friends do."

"I'm sorry, I just don't want you to worry about me and I don't want to scare you."

"You won't scare me, you never will and I do worry about you. That's how relationships work ya know, we worry about each other and we don't push each other way."

"I had a nightmare that you got hurt because of me and when I woke up and you weren't right beside me it scared me. For a moment I thought it was real and you were gone."

"I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's not your fault and as soon as I saw you come out of the bathroom looking like that I was fine."

"Looking like what?"

"You're wearing my shirt, no pants, your hair is a mess and your makeup is smeared. You look like a hot mess." he laughed

"Don't be mean."

"I'm not, I wouldn't have you any other way. You're always hot, whether it's in just my shirt and your hair a mess or when you're all dressed up and everything in between but this is my favorite. Just you with none of the makeup or clothes to disguise how beautiful you are naturally without any of that shit."

"You don't like when I wear makeup?"

"You're missing my point, you always look good, makeup or not but right now you look like I kept you up all night rolling around with me."

"Because you did."

"Exactly and you're beautiful."

"Shut up." I laughed

"Not a chance." he chuckled at me softly

He pulled my lips to his and kissed me slowly and softly. It's insane how easily he can turn me on with just the smallest of things like a compliment and a kiss. "I need to go talk to Tony." I told him

"I know, are you sure you don't want me there."

"Of course I want you there but it would make it impossible to talk to Tony because he'd be too busy insulting you or assaulting you. I wish you could be with me and I don't know how I'm going to do this without you holding my hand and encouraging me."
