Summer didn't consist of the barbecues, amusement parks, and public pools that Adeline was used to. She predicted this, but it still felt strange. She had initially planned on getting a job near the Potter Manor as she had back home over the summers. But Fleamont had other plans.

Adeline and Fleamont spent their days working on her hair dye potion. By the end of summer, they had a line of ten colors- all having been tested on different hair colors and hair types. They were set to go on the market August 30th. Two days before they went back to school, and one day before Adeline's birthday.

Over the summer, the Potter Manor welcomed in the teenaged friends of Adeline, Sirius, and James nearly every week. Since everyone, except Adeline, were 17 and had their apparition license, it was easy to all get together.

At the beginning of August, James and Lily were told they would be this year's Head Boy and Girl, surprising everyone including James.

On August 30th the release of Sleakeazy's Hair Dye Potion was a huge success. Wizards all over flocked to the stores to purchase the company's new innovation. Fleamont took Adeline to Gringott's and set up a vault for her. She never had enough wizarding money to need one. Now her profits of the potion would be transferred directly to the account.

She created her Sectumsempra healing ointment and Zipline's Mind Saving Potion for Werewolves out of the goodness of her heart. The healing potion was not verified and the only know recipes were between her and Madam Pomfrey. Zipline's copyright was made inclusive so that anyone can create it for free.

Sleakeazy's however, was for money.

The Potters had a tradition of going to Diagon Alley the day before school started, so the three teens and the two adults woke up early and flooed to the town.

"Alright, do you all have your supply lists?" Euphemia asked when they arrived.

A chorus of yes's followed her question.

"Wonderful. Sirius, Adeline, do you need to go to your vaults?"

"Yeah I'll have to swing by." Sirius said.

"I just need to exchange some muggle money." Adeline hadn't planned on using her potion money yet. She still had some muggle money that her parents left in the storage locker. She knew it would piss them off if they found out she used it for wizarding supplies.

"Then we'll stop by there first." Euphemia said with a smile.

"Mum, we can go shopping alone. We're seventeen." James whined. "Even Adeline would have to be now. It's the last possible day for it to be her birthday-Happy birthday Zipline just in case it is today."

Don't make it obvious don't make it obvious, "It's not but thanks James." Adeline said exactly how she did every other day he said happy birthday.

"Alright, Alright, you're growing up, I get it. It's not like it's our last time shopping for you, oh wait it is." Euphemia's eyes went misty.

"Mummmm" James complained.

"Fine, James. Meet us at The Three Broomsticks for dinner at 5."

"Thanks mum," James said giving her a kiss on the cheek.

The three kids turned and went off to buy their supplies.

Their NEWT year had them buying all sorts of new books and trinkets. But after a lot of shop bouncing, James and Sirius reached their last stop: Quality Quidditch Supplies.

"Yeah I'll just meet you guys at dinner when you're done." Adeline said shaking her head when they tried to pull her into the shop with them.

"Mum will kill us if we leave you alone, come on Zipline." James complained.
