"Miss Wilson. May I have a word." Snape said as Adeline sat in Slughorn's classroom alone.

"Why?" Adeline said with a sigh.

"It's important."

"Fine. Hit me."

"Not here. My office."

"What's wrong with here?"

"It isn't safe."

"Ugh." Adeline said standing up. "You're the worst."

The two of them walked in silence until they arrived in Snape's office. Snape casted a few protective spells before preparing to speak, "Miss Wilson, what do you think about me?"

"What about you?"

"Do you think I'm a good guy?"

"Hell no."

"Do you think I'm a bad guy?"

"Uh yeah? Duh."

"Okay. That makes this more difficult to explain."

"Sorry Snape, but you are literally a Death Eater."

"Was. I was a Death Eater. As soon as The Dark Lord killed Lily I changed sides."

"But when he killed Lily's parents and two of her best friends you were chill with it?"

"I can't fix my past Wilson, only my future."

"Okay. Then what's in your future?"

"That has to do with you."

"Ew no. I'd never date you."

"That's not what I was inferring Wilson."

"Thank God because that would be a no from me."

"Me as well."

"Then what do you want man?"

"You've developed a friendship with Draco Malfoy, correct?"

"Yeah, kind of. I don't think he likes me very much but I talk to him anyways."

"You're aware of his father's association with the Dark Lord?"

"Yeah I'm fucking aware Lucius is a Death Eater. He literally tried to kill me- like someone else I know."

Snape ignored her jab and continued, "Draco is being recruited as well."

Adeline's face went stone cold, "I can't say I'm shocked."

"And that is what I need you for."

"I can't stop him. He'd never listen to me."

"Draco was tasked with killing Dumbledore."

Adeline looked up at Snape, "He can't. He's a child, he's too young to murder someone."

"I agree. That's why I need your help."

"You want me to kill Dumbledore?"

"No. I want you to help me prevent Draco from doing it. I made a vow to his mother that I would kill him if Draco failed. I need to make sure Draco fails."

"Are you telling me all of this to make me an accomplice and get me thrown back in jail this time without the guilt of Lily?"

"No. I'm telling you so we can keep Draco innocent."

"Does Albus know about any of this? Because if not I have to assume you're a Death Eater still and are tricking me.""

"Yes Albus knows, he's prepared to die. And he agrees I should do it instead of Draco. But he doesn't know I'm telling you."
