When Adeline and Remus returned it was lunchtime. Euphemia put together an extravagant meal in honor of the girls' arrival. They walked in just in time to hear Euphemia yell up the stairs.

"DINNER TIME CHILDREN," she turned to Remus and Adeline. "Oh, hello dears, where were you?"

"On a walk," Adeline responded.

"Good for you two, but since you're the first ones down here, will you go set the table?."

"Of course," Remus said.

They entered the dining room and Remus opened the cabinet with the place settings and Adeline went to the kitchen to get silverware.

"Not seventeen yet either?" Adeline asked Remus as he started manually setting down the place mats.

"Nope. March 10th."

"That's soon at least."

"Yep. How long do you have?"

"A while yet."

"When's your birthday?"

"That's confidential."

"You won't tell me your birthday?"

Dorcas entered the room, "No and she won't tell me either." She sat down in a chair as the others entered as well, "However, I did narrow it down to summer."

"Or so you think." Adeline deflected.

"I know. And this summer I will get Effie to tell me when you start using magic."

"Maybe my birthday already passed and I can currently use magic and I'm just pretending."

"You're not that good at faking."

"I've been believed before when I was faking." Adeline replied suggestively causing Remus to choke on his drink.

Dorcas suddenly looked concerned, "Adeline."

Adeline shrugged.

"I thought Wilson was a virgin." Siris sneered.

"Shut the fuck up Sirius," Marlene said.

"Why am I the bad guy here?" Sirius pointed at Adeline, "She brought it up."

"It's okay guys," Adeline reassured Marlene and Dorcas, "Black's just confused how there's a girl out there whose virginity he didn't take."

"Hey, I never take virginities." Sirius smirked, "I'm given them."

"Let's please change the topic before my mother comes in with the food." James begged.

"She could probably hear from the kitchen." Adeline suggested to piss James off.

"Nah, if we couldn't make out what you and Sirius were screaming about the other night then she can't make out your normal voices." James replied nonchalantly.

"I'm shocked you didn't put your ear to the door to eavesdrop."

"I would've but Mum and Dad would have told me I was being rude."

"You wouldn't have been the only person being rude that night."

"Shove off" Sirius said annoyed.

"Lunch is served!" Euphemia said as she opened the kitchen doors and magically sat down the dishes. Fleamont entered behind her.

"Everything looks delicious Euphemia." Lily said with a kind smile.

"Thank you Lily, I hope it tastes just as good for you." Euphemia replied. She knew about James' crush on her.
