The dead had been buried. Even after some slight argument we were all able to mourn in our own ways. Every time Daryl approached me I walked the other way. He certainly noticed I was acting funny, but I didn't know what else to do. I was scared even though I didn't want to admit it.As I walked around gathering supplies and I came back towards the RV to give some more water to Jim. I noticed Shane and Lori outside arguing. The blood inside me suddenly boiled again. Why was I the one living in fear while he got to mess with me, and tell me who I can't talk to. But he can still talk to her.
"I guess I'll just add that to the list of habits I'm breaking, whether I like it or not." Shane said as I caught the last of their conversation.
"What habits?" Rick asked before I could.
I was slightly grateful for him coming out of the RV at the same time as I approached them."Just talking about my need for a plan, man." Shane said quickly and I knew he was lying by the way he rubbed his mouth. He always did it when he was lying. "It ain't just your families safety I'm concerned about. I gotta family I got to protect too. So what is it? Are we leaving or not? Maybe ya'll just wanna stay here. We could hang some more tin cans."
"We can't stay here. We both know that." Rick said.
"I was just telling Shane I think we should trust your gut." Lori spoke up and I rolled my eyes.
"Let's go do our sweep, man." Shane said suddenly. Rick nodded and the two walked off.
"Lori, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked.
"Oh, uh, sure Y/n." Lori said looking at me concerned. "You know, I did want to apologize about earlier. Heat of the moment, everyone's wound up and scared. I really hate arguing with you. You're one of my best friends, you know?"
"Stay away from my husband." I blurted and she looked at me shocked. "Yeah, I know about the two of you. Believe me, if we weren't in the middle of an apocalypse, I'd have taken his ass to court and divorced him then and there. But I don't have that option. So, stay away from him. He told me all about you guys and how you follow him around like a love sick puppy. And what would you know, every time I turned around. You're following after him, picking a fight with him."
"Y/n, I..." Lori tried to speak but she was still shocked.
"Don't stay away, and I will personally ruin your life, you got me? I will tell Rick exactly what you two were up too behind his back. The man went through hell to find you and you jumped on my husbands dick a week after you were told Rick was 'dead'." I scoffed. "Some wife and best friend you are."
I walked away from her and went off to find Charlotte.

SHANE'S POV:
"Tell you what, man, these people, man. They're not convinced." I shook my head as I relayed my feelings to Rick while we walked through the woods together. Dale was some where scouting the forests as well. "You head to the CDC, you might be on your own. You gotta really consider whether you want put Lori, Carl in that kind of spot. I'm certainly not putting Y/n and Charlotte in that position."
"I gotta do what's best for my family." Rick replied.
"Best for your family? What's that? Exposing them to that kind of risk?" I asked with a small scoff hearing what he said.
"As opposed to what?' Rick scoffed back. "You really want to cross hundreds of miles of hostile territory with them and you expect to keep them safe? If we're looking for a lifeline, I say swim toward the closest ship, not further out to sea. Why can't you back me up?"
