CHARLOTTE'S POV: (In the woods at the abandoned house. Day 2.)
I had woken the next morning and my body ached all over from sleeping in the small cupboard space. Light shined in through the bottom of the door only slightly. I noticed I still held my piece of paper in my hands and quickly folded it back up and put it away. I shook Sophia and she groaned, waking up."Hmm?" She asked.
"It's mornin'. I think we should try to head back and find the creek again. I'm sure my Mom and the others are out looking for us. It's our best bet." I explained to her.
I placed my hand on the handle and turned it. The door creaked slightly and I slowly began crawling out of the closet, checking to make sure nothing had gotten in during the night.
"Maybe it's better if we just stay put. Isn't that what they say when you get lost. Stay put and someone will find you?" Sophia suggested and I shook my head.
"Generally, I think. But Soph, we're just sitting ducks if we stay here."
"And we're live bait if we go back out there. At least in here there's shelter. Someone's bound to find us at some point." Sophia pointed out and I sighed.
"Okay, fine. Maybe we should wait one more day here. But after that we've got to keep moving. Okay?" I asked and she nodded. "Okay. Maybe we should look around and see what else we can find. More food, or maybe some other weapons."
"Okay." Sophia agreed.
"You take the upstairs this time, throughly check and I'll take down here." I stated.
Sophia walked up the stairs and I walked around the bottom of the house. I opened every cupboard and looked in every nook and cranny there was. Between the old stove and an old trinket cupboard I spied a knife. It looked like a big kitchen knife. I could give it to Sophia to use. I bent down and reached my arm inside barely reaching it with my finger tips. I groaned and tried forcing my arm in farther.
"Ha! Gotcha you little, bastard." I laughed as I wrapped my fingers around the handle, pulling it out.
"Charlotte!" Sophia hissed and it spooked me.
I jumped and dropped the knife. It went up and came back down. It sliced my arm on the way down and I yelped.
"Don't do that!" I yelled angrily.
"I'm sorry!" Sophia said quickly. She rushed over and we both looked at my arm. "It's bleeding pretty bad. How are we going to fix it?"
"I don't know. Jesus, it hurts. Take my dagger and go rip off some of the blanket from the closet. It's the only clean thing in here. We're gonna have to use that to wrap it."
Sophia moved quickly and after a few minutes of hearing her struggle she returned with a few pieces of the cloth. I wrapped it around my arm and used another piece to tie it on. It wasn't holding well but it'd have to do...

YOUR POV: (On the highway. Day 2)
"Everybody takes a weapon." Rick explained the next morning.
I had barely gotten maybe an hour of sleep. Without the ability to tell time it was hard to tell but it certainly felt that way. I was the first up and I waited for the others. Daryl was next and the others very shortly after him. It was barely after sunrise when we had made the plan for our search and rescue mission.
Almost everyone was coming. T-Dog wasn't going because he had sliced up his arm real good during the walker invasion. Dad was going to stay behind to keep watch just in case the girls were able to make it back to the highway, as well as get the RV fixed up and ready to go as soon as we did find the girls.
