    YOUR POV:
"Mom? Is everything you just told Glenn true?" Charlotte asked shakily with tears in her eyes.

"Oh, sweet pea. You weren't supposed to hear any of that." I said with tears building up in my own eyes again.

"Mom, please, be honest with me." Charlotte begged as she came closer.

        "Charlotte."

        "Mom! Please."

"Yes, it's true." I said as a sob escaped my mouth. Tears flooded from my eyes and poured down my cheeks. I tossed my face into my hands and let it out.

"Oh, Mom. I've been so awful to you while you were going through something so terrible. I am so sorry. I should have been there for you instead of fighting you." Charlotte cried as she came in and sat next to me. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close.

"Don't you dare apologize. I'm your Mother. I'm supposed to be the strong one. This is not for you to try and fix, okay? Sometimes with all the bad going on, you tend to forget what people are capable of. I-I didn't even tell your Dad before he left. We promised each other no more secrets. And I've broken that rule twice now."

"What do you mean?" Charlotte asked with a sniffle.

"Well, since your Dad's not here. I might as well tell you. I'm gonna be needing a lot more of your help in the coming months." I explained softly and she looked at me intensely. "You're gonna be a big sister."

"I am?" Charlotte gasped. "You're pregnant?"

"Mhm." I nodded. I carefully looked over her facial expression, scared that she might be upset. But to my surprise she reached up and touched her star necklace and she smiled.

"I'm gonna be a big sister?" She asked again and I nodded back at her. "I can't believe it. I'm gonna be a big sister, finally! It is Dad's right?"

        "Charlotte Rose Dixon!" I gasped.

"I'm kidding. Of course it is. Wow! It's okay. We can do this together, Mom. You and me." Charlotte said as she leaned in and hugged me. "You don't have to worry about being alone this time. I'm gonna be there for you and the baby."

"Oh, sweet pea." I sniffled and pulled her into me again.

"Y/n?" Beth called out from downstairs.

"Coming!" I called out to her.

I wiped my eyes and stood for a minute trying to gather myself together. Charlotte smiled at me and squeezed my hand before walking out first. I composed myself for another moment and I walked out of my perch and down the stairs. I could see Beth trying to feed Judith but she was fussing. She sighed in annoyance.

"She just won't eat for me." Beth sighed as I got closer.

"It's okay. It's not you. She probably just misses her Daddy." I said with a soft smile. "Come here, pumpkin." I cooed.

I grabbed Judith and began to rock her slightly as I spoke to her. She seemed to calm slightly but she still didn't want her bottle.

        "Where's Rick?" I asked.

"Last we saw he was down past the gates." Carl told me and I nodded.

"Alright, we'll I guess it's time for a little adventure, huh?" I said smiling at her and then looking at the other kids.
