The Silver Conference Ceremony

That evening Cora and the gang had a talk with Harrison. Cora asked Harrison what the Hoenn region was like because she was going to visit that region after this. First off Harrison told Cora about Prof Birch, the Pokémon professor in Littleroot Town.

Apparently, Prof Birch loved all sorts of Pokémon and he loved to study nonstop about them, even going to see them in different places. Cora remembered him when she and Professor Oak visit the Hoenn Region when Cora was his assistant. 

"It was Prof Birch who told me to take a journey here in the Johto region and I'm glad I did," Harrison stated, "I had a great time out here in the Johto region, seeing new places and Pokémon."

"Same with us. We've enjoyed our journey here too." Cora agreed.

"Yeah." Alain, Mairin, Ash, Misty and Brock together.

"You'll like the Hoenn region," Harrison said, "because it has lots and lots of cool new Pokémon."

"I most definitely will." Cora agreed.

Later they met up with Gary. Gary explained after meeting a lot of different Pokémon and seeing their evolutions, he had decided on giving up on battling and become a Pokémon researcher. Ash gave Gary the rusty Pokéball to him for luck. 

"I think you will be great as a Pokémon researcher Gary, especially since you know so much about Pokémon." Cora stated.

Gary smiled softly, "Thanks, Cora."

With all the battles over, it was now time for the closing ceremony of the Silver Conference.

Cora earned the first-place trophy, which was a golden trophy with a golden PokéBall on top. Harrison earned the second-place medal, which was a silver medal with a picture of a silver Pokéball. Ash earned third place received a bronze medal, with a picture of a bronze Pokéball. Gary and all the other trainers, who didn't win, earned a Pokémon league badge. The badge looked like the badge from the indigo league, but it was colored red, and gold (dedicated to Ho-oh) and it was in a red and yellow colored cloth.

"An excellent job, Cora." Mr. Goodshow said, "I have to say you and your Pokémon work hard in the Silver Conference." Cora smiled with Kilala, "This is the second League you've won. So where are you headed?"

"I'm thinking of going to Hoenn Region to enter the League there and maybe a Contest battle." Cora answered.

"Hohoho," Mr. Goodshow said, "So you're going to try and be a Pokémon Coordinator as well."

Cora nodded.

"Well knowing you, you'll do your best and I'll see you again in the Hoenn Region League."

Cora smiled, "Yes and thank you very much Mr. Goodshow." She said with a bow.

"Espeon!" Kilala smiled.

"You're welcome my dear girl." Mr. Goodshow smiled.

All the participants of the Silver Conference got one more round of claps and cheers and then the Silver Conference finally came to an end, and the flame of Ho-oh on the stadium went out.

When it was all over, it was defiantly time for Gary, Harrison, Delia, Alise Joy, Prof. Oak, Prof. Sycamore and the gang to leave the Johto Region. Gary said that he was going to travel through Mt Silver some more, before heading back to Pallet Town. Harrison said that he was now going to travel through the Kanto region to participate in the Indigo League. Prof. Oak, Delia, Alise Joy, Prof. Sycamore, and the gang said that they were going to travel to Viridian City, and then head to Pallet Town. They all wished each other luck with their goals, said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.

So now the gang's journey in the Johto region was finally over now.
