König stayed. And it made me happy. I felt safe with him here.

"Thank you." I said sheepishly.

König was no longer on his way to the exit, but now back in his usual seat at my bedside. I ran a hand through my hair, smiling softly as i watched König shuffle in his spot; tugging the large mask that laid over his face down towards his chest. It was funny, i had never actually seen his face but still here i was craving his presence. I always had a gnawing want in the back of my head to ask why he wore it, i just wasn't sure if doing so was a good idea. There could be a million reasons why.

"You should still get some sleep." König broke me from my thoughts. My eyes shot from the black material he donned to his own eyes, which were already looking at mine.

"Aren't you still tired from all that?" He added.

"Aren't you?" I asked.

Königs head tilted.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

I opened my mouth to speak but closed it and paused before eventually speaking.

"It's just- you're busy. When you're free you're here, don't you want to get some sleep of your own?"

"I get my sleep, but i also want to be here if you need me." König said. "I can do both."

I smiled at my lap before looking back to König. He was sitting in front of the window, turned slightly towards me with the light outside shining in on his backside. It was a hazy blue color illuminating him, making his light eyes shimmer in the darkness.

"Why do you want to be here though?" I shot back at him with a smirk.

König paused, shaking his head and laughing lightly from underneath his mask.

"You don't give up do you?" He said.

I smiled again, "Guess not."

He let out a deep breath while moving one of his arms behind it head.

"Get some sleep okay?" König said.

I sighed but eventually started to leaned back in my bed.

"Will you stay until i fall asleep..?" I hesitantly asked.

"I'll be here."

I smiled again, my cheeks started to hurt from my continuous happy expression, but perhaps that isn't a bad pain to have.

"Thank you." I whispered before letting my eyes slowly close, drifting to unconsciousness a lot faster than i normally would.
