After a week of Hogwarts, and classes. Madeline sat in the library, looking over her potions homework that she was struggling over.

"Ayre," someone said, she looked up seeing Malfoy.

"Malfoy what are you doing here?" She asked,

"Well, I could ask you the same thing."

"I'm studying for potions."

"This is exactly why I think Muggleborns shouldn't be in wizards' school. It's hard to understand." Malfoy said, she looked at him confused.

"It's the first week of classes idiot."

"Doesn't matter,"

"Well, are you just going to stand there and bother me?" Madeline asked, Malfoy walked to the table next to Madeline's.

"Why are you sitting there?"

"It's a table, I need to study." Malfoy said, Madeline rolled her eyes.

"I mean why next to me?"

"I'm not next to you, I would never sit with a mudblood. I'm sitting at the table next to yours. Big difference." He said,

"You're so annoying." She muttered looking back at her textbook.

Ten minutes of peace passed by until Madeline felt something hitting her forehead, a piece of paper fell on her textbook. She looked up at Malfoy, glaring at him.

"What is wrong with you?" She asked, as Malfoy chuckled.

"I didn't do anything." Madeline picked up the paper and glared at him.

"So, this wasn't you?"

"No, it fell from the sky."

"Wow. How convenient." She said, before throwing it at his head, it hit him, between the eyes, before falling in his lap.

"Now, stop bothering me, and let me study." She said,

Another ten minutes later, Madeline saw that Malfoy was packing up his things.

"Where are you going?" She asked,

"Even if it is none of your business, Mudblood. But we have our flying lessons in ten minutes." Madeline looked at the clock, realizing he was right. She stood up and started packing up.

"Don't walk with me." Madeline said, as they left the library.

"Not that I want too, but we're going the same way." Malfoy muttered,

"Fine, walk on the other side of hallway." Madeline said, Malfoy rolled his eyes, and walked to the other end.

Soon, they made it to the Hogwarts grounds, being the last ones to join the group, and the only two broomsticks left were two right next to each other, near Daphne.

"You two came together?" She asked, smirking.

"Never!" They both shouted.

"He was bothering me in the library."

"I was not, the mud-"

"Draco!" Daphne shouted; he rolled his eyes.

"Muggleborn was bothering me."

"Good afternoon, class." Madam Hooch shouted, as she walked up to them, pulling on a pair of gloves.

"Good afternoon," They shouted back.

"Welcome to your first flying lesson. Well, what are you waiting for? Everyone step up to the left side of their broomstick. Come on now, hurry up. Stick your right hand over the broom and say, "Up!" She explained,

"Up!" Everyone shouted, Madeline looked at her broom, that rolled to her side sadly.

"Up!" She shouted again, annoyed, but the broom just rolled again. After five shouts of "Up!" the broom finally flew to her hand.

"That was pathetic to watch." Malfoy said, who had gotten his on the first try, Madeline rolled her eyes.

"Now, once you've got hold of your broom, I want you to mount it, and grip it tight. You don't want to be sliding off the end. When I blow my whistle, I want each of you to kick off from the ground, hard. Keep your broom steady, hover for a moment, then lean forward slightly, and touch back down. On my whistle...three, two." She blew her whistle, but then a Gryffindor boy started flying up, before the others.

"Mr. Longbottom! Get down right now!" Madam Hooch shouted,

"Help! Help!" Longbottom said,

"Come back down this instant! Mr. Longbottom!" She shouted, but Longbottom just flew higher and higher.

"Down!"

"Neville!" Harry Potter shouted,

"Help! Help!" He shouted, before flying towards the roof top of Hogwarts, he struggled with his broom before falling off of it, his robe getting caught on a statue, they heard a loud ripping sound, and then Longbottom fell, right on his arm. Then Gryffindor's and Madam Hooch ran towards Longbottom.

"Oh, dear. It's a broken wrist. Poor boy. Come on now, up you get. Everyone is to keep their feet firmly on the ground while I take Mr. Longbottom to the hospital wing. Understand? If I see a single broom in the air, the one ridding it will find themselves out of Hogwarts before they can say 'Quidditch,'" Madam Hooch said, leading Longbottom inside the castle.

Malfoy walked to where Longbottom had fallen, picking something up from the ground.

"Did you see his face? Maybe if the fat lump had given this a squeeze, he would've remembered to fall on his fat arse." Malfoy said,

"Here he goes again." Daphne said,

"What?" Madeline said,

"Hes a bit dramatic you see. You'll get used to it." Blaise explained, shaking his head watching as Malfoy flew up with Potter following in the air.

"Have it your way, then!" They heard Malfoy shout, before throwing the ball in the air. Madeline watched as Potter flew, catching the ball easily, before flying down to where his friends were cheering him on.

"Nice going, Harry!"

"Well, it wasn't that impressive." Malfoy scoffed.

"Do you want me to throw Blaise and see if you can catch him?" Theo asked,

"What? No!" Blaise shouted,

"It could make me feel better." Malfoy said, Blaise rolled his eyes.

"You two better stay away from me." He said,

"Harry Potter! Follow me!" Professor McGonagall said, walking onto the field. Potter's face paled before he followed Professor McGonagall inside.

"He's going to get expelled!" Malfoy shouted, excitedly, rocking on his heels.

"I did it!"
