Draco walked down the stairs from the boy's dormitory. He had finally, finally finished the cabinet last night, he sent word to his Aunt Bellatrix, and she wrote back right away of course and told him exactly what time to open the cabinet. He looked at his friends sitting on the couch, studying for there finals.

"Draco, where are you going?" Madeline asked, looking up her textbook.

"Go upstairs." He said,

"What?" Madeline said, as Theo, Blaise, and Daphne stopped there writing and looked up at him.

"Go upstairs. Now." Draco repeated,

"What's going on with you?" Theo asked,

"Why are you talking to her like that?" Daphne hissed, glaring at Draco. Draco looked down at his wristwatch, rubbing his temple, before sighing.

"I'm sorry but listen..." Draco stepped closer to the group; he looked around before leaning down.

"Something's happening...later tonight. You need to go upstairs, don't let anyone in."

"Draco, you're making me nervous. What's going on?" Madeline eyed Draco's hands, they were shaking. He curled his hands into a fist, shaking his head.

"Especially you, don't leave this common room. I swear to God Madeline if you leave-"

"Okay okay...we're going upstairs you're starting to freak me out." Blaise said, they shut there textbooks, rolled up there parchment, packed away there quills, and threw there backpacks over there shoulders.

"Go to my room. No one will look for you there." Draco said, the group exchanged nervous glances as they started walking. Draco grabbed Madeline's arm, stopping her, she looked at him, his eyes so nervous and angry that she couldn't leave him just yet.

"You guys go...I'll meet you upstairs." She said, not taking her eyes off Draco. They didn't say a word until they heard there friends go upstairs.

"Are you okay?" Madeline whispered, as Draco's hand slid down her arm, and grabbed her hands.

"Ask me that when today's over." He whispered,

"What's going on?"

"I can't tell you."

"Even when you're acting so weird. Like right now?" Madeline asked, Draco looked away, his eyes looked around the common room, before glancing at his left arm. He could feel the weight of his dark mark today more than any other day.

"I don't want to talk about that right now. I can't stay long."

"Where are you going?"

"I love you," Draco whispered, she didn't get a chance to say it back before he grabbed the back of Madeline's head, smashing their lips together in a desperate kiss, like he wasn't sure when the next time he'll see her. She clutched her shirt, desperate for him to be closer, desperate for him to know exactly how she felt.

"I love you too," She breathed when he let her go, she smiled, kissing her hand before he let her go. She watched him walk towards the exit and waited for the wall to slide up.

"Draco," she said, he turned around, forcing a smile on his lips.

"Please don't go." Madeline whispered, touching the necklace she always wore, the one he gave her.

"I have too." He said, before he walked out of the common room. She stared at the wall, wanting him to come back, she thought that if she just stood there for a couple more minutes, he'll come back, and everything will be okay, but after ten minutes she realized he wasn't coming back.

She walked up the stairs, and down the hall where Draco's dorm room was. She knocked on the door, whispering their names to let them know it was her. Blaise opened the door, and quickly let her in, locking the door behind her. Their backpacks were placed against the walls, Daphne sat on Draco's bed, Theo was pacing the room, his wand in hand, Blaise locked the door behind him, joining Theo as he paced around the room.

"Where did Draco go?" Theo asked, as Madeline sat down next to Daphne.

"He left,"

"Where?"

"He wouldn't say, I kept asking him, but he would avoid the question." Theo, Blaise, and Daphne shared a nervous look.

"What?" Madeline asked, looking between the three.

"No, it's nothing." Theo whispered, looking away from her.

"You three better not start avoiding my questions too."

"We...we we're saying if it has something to do with you know who and... death eaters." Daphne answered, Madeline opened and closed her mouth trying to say something, but she couldn't.

"I don't know," She whispered, she felt like she needed to rest. She put her head down on Draco's pillow closing her eyes, she didn't know what else to do.

---

It was two hours now since Draco told them to hide in his room, there nerves starting to rise as the minutes passed by. There was a knock-on Draco's door, Madeline sat up, looking at Blaise, Theo and Daphne. Blaise took out his wand from his pocket, taking slow steps to the door, as Theo stood in front of the girls.

"Princess Madeline! Are you in here!" She heard Michael's familiar voice say.

"How do you know she's in here?" Jackson said

"Draco...he yelled-" Madeline turned the doorknob, throwing open the door. Michael, Jackson, and April jumped back, lifting there wands up, looking like they had just come out of a bad fight, there grey guard uniforms had blood on it, if it was there's or someone else's Madeline didn't know. They breathed out relieved once they realized it was Madeline, Michael grabbed Madeline by the shoulders, as Jackson and April walked into the room.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm okay, we've been in this room for 3 hours. We never left. Draco forced us in here." Michael nodded, as Jackson and April walked out.

"The rooms clear."

"What's going on?"

"There were death eaters in Hogwarts."

"What?" Michael nodded,

"They were let in; we still don't know how." But Madeline had a sinking feeling she did know how.

"Where's Elijah?"

"We got another team going to get him."

"Where's Draco?" Madeline asked, Michael looked away from her, running his tongue over his teeth before signing.

"He...he left with Bellatrix."

"What do you mean he left?"

"He left Hogwarts. He's not here,"

"Why?"

"I don't know...I don't know what's going on." Madeline pursed her lips, tilting her head up.

"I know exactly who knows."

"Who?"

"Harry Potter."
