Draco entered the muggle's sweet shop again, inhaling the scent of the bakery, as he walked closer to the counter.
"Alone this time?" A familiar voice said, Draco pulled his eyes away from the cupcakes that were green, red, blue, and yellow, with the house crests on them. He thought those were kind of cute.
"Yeah," Draco chuckled, as he looked at the older lady. She tied the front of her apron, walking up to where Draco stood by the sweets.
"She's kind of mad at me." Draco muttered, as the lady opened the glass container.
"Hm, can I ask why?" The lady said, tilting her head at him.
"It's stupid."
"How stupid?" The lady asked,
"I mean, I got mad at her for hanging out with another guy." Draco said, the corner of the lady's mouth twitched up into a smirk.
"I thought that you two said you weren't dating." She asked, Draco shook his head.
"No! We're not!"
"Oh, so you just have a crush on her, I get it." She nodded, Draco's mouth opened in shock, looking at her surprised.
"What? I do not-"
"But you don't know if she has a crush on you?" The lady crossed her arm over her chest, deciding to shut the glass door since he still hadn't ordered anything.
"I don't think so." He signed; the lady shook her head sadly.
"You don't know that for certain." She said, Draco shrugged, stuffing his hands in his pocket.
"I think so." The lady frowned, shaking her head. Draco cleared his throat, taking his right hand out of his pocket and putting it to the sweets.
"Could I have three of um...what was it called? The thing we got last time?" Malfoy asked, rubbing the back of his head. The lady laughed, putting on a pair of gloves and opening the glass container.
"Brownies?"
"Yeah, that's what it was." She nodded, taking out three and putting it into a small white box, she closed the box, and put a green bow tie on top. Draco paid for the box and said goodbye to the lady before leaving the shop.

Draco walked into the common room, seeing his friends lazily sitting near the fireplace, Theo and Daphne were playing with a sneakscope, Blaise sat with Madeline on the couch, watching Theo and Daphne struggle with it.
"What's that?" Blaise asked, nodding towards the box, once Draco walked over to them. He set it on the table, taking off his coat, gloves, scarf, and hat.
"It's not for you." Draco smirked,
"Who's it for then?" Blaise asked.
"Why are you so nosy?" He asked,
"I can never ask question's anymore." Blaise said, crossing his arms over his chest, and pouting. Draco sat down on a chair next to the couch, the box still in his hand. It took five minutes before Madeline looked over at him, he tilted his head towards the exit. She signed and nodded, they both stood up, and walked towards the exit of the common room.
"What is it?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest. Malfoy shook his head, handing her the box of brownies.
"This is for you,"
"For me?" She said, her eyebrows scrunching up in confusion.
"Yeah," Madeline still hadn't taken the box from him, he pushed it closer to her, she took the box from him, looking down at the box and up at him.
"Why?" He didn't answer, instead just shrugging and turning around and walking back inside the Slytherin common room. She pulled at the little green ribbon, and the box opened showing three brownies. She shut the box, pursing her lips not to smirk.
Madeline walked into the Slytherin common room, and straight upstairs. She jumped on her bed, opening the box and picked up the first brownie.
Why does he always do that? Why does he always do something weirdly nice and be a jerk the next second.
Madeline wondered as she ate the brownies in her dorm room, staring up at the ceiling.
