Madeline walked into the library with Daphne, they had been assigned a project in transfiguration, they walked to the charms section, finding every book talking about different kinds of fire transfiguration spells. They grabbed every book from the shelf and walked to the back of the library.

"Look, there's Elijah," Daphne nodded towards the window, her hands were too full to point.

"I've been wanting to go ask him how his date went," Madeline giggled,

"SH!" Madam Pince said, they set there books and bag down at a table closest to the Transfiguration section. They walked towards Elijah and sat down in front of him.

"Yes?" He asked, not looking up at them.

"We were just wondering...how was your date?" Madeline smirked, Elijah shut his book, shaking his head at his sister.

"You and your friends are so nosy."

"So yes, or no?" Daphne said,

"It was good," Madeline tilted her head, rolling her eyes.

"That's all we get?"

"What more do you want?"

"How did you guys meet? How did you ask her out? What did you guys talk about?" Madeline asked,

"We met in potions we're lab partner. I asked her out when we were walking to lunch. I don't need to tell you what we talked about." Elijah said,

"What's her name?" Daphne asked,

"Her name is Michelle Day.  I call her M. Okay can we stop with the questions? She's supposed to be meeting me-"

"Elijah?" They heard someone whisper, Daphne and Madeline turned around, seeing Michelle walking up to the table. She nervously looked at them, a blush creeping up her cheeks.

"Hi, I'm Madeline,"

"Daphne," They grinned as Michelle sat down next to Elijah.

"Ignore them and they will go away." Elijah huffed, rubbing his hand over her face

"I'm Michelle," She smiled, Elijah glared at them, nodding towards there table.

"Okay, okay, we're going to leave you two alone. We'll see you later." Madeline said, they both stood up walking back to there table, and starting on there paper.

"Are you guys ready to go?" Blaise asked walking down from the boy's dormitory, the Quidditch game Slytherin vs Gryffindor was today, and the group was about to head out to the field. Daphne, Madeline, and Theo were standing around in the common room waiting.

"We're just waiting for Draco." Daphne said,

"He said he'd come," Madeline looked up the boy's stairs waiting for him to come down, any second.

"Malfoy! Get your arse down here!" Blaise shouted, but there was no response. Madeline signed her shoulders tense, waiting.

"You know what, I'll just go upstairs and see where he is." She said, she stomped up the stairs, walked down the hall, and knocked on Draco's door.

"Go away!" Draco shouted through the door.

"Draco?" Madeline called,

"Madeline?" He said, she heard him walking towards the door, and opened it a second later. He looked pale, skinner, there were dark circles under his eyes.

"Draco? Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine. What's up though?" He asked,

"The match...aren't you coming...or playing?" She asked, Draco shook his head, rubbing his head.

"No, I'm not playing today."

"Why?" She asked,

"I'm not feeling very well." Draco said, Madeline put her hand on Draco's cheek, her eyes searching his face.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, why do you keep asking me that?"

"Because I'm worried about you. I feel like I only see you a couple minutes a day, and you're always distracted...or in your head, or something." She said, Draco shook his head.

"I'm sorry Madeline, I've been distracted. I just need to get some rest, I'm to tired to play a match that's all."

"Are you to tired for me to stop by later tonight?" Madeline asked, Draco smiled, shaking his head.

"I'm never tired of you, Princess. I'll see you tonight." He leaned down, putting his hand on Madeline's lower back, pulling her body against his, brushing his lips against Madeline, before kissing her lips. The kiss sent shivers down Madeline's spine, her heart hammering against her chest.

"DRACO! MADELINE! HURRY UP!" They heard Blaise shout, they pulled apart, their faces flushed, and lips puffy.

"I'll see you tonight." Draco smiled, Madeline nodded, she started walking down the hall before she remembered Slughorn Christmas party.

"Draco!" She called turning around.

"Yes princess?" He said, he crossed his arms over his chest, leaning against the door frame.

"Slughorn's having a Christmas party and he said we could bring a date. Do you want to be my date?" She asked, she pulled on her fingertips nervously. Draco looked down at her hands, he walked over to her, and grabbed her hands before answering.

"Of course I'll be your date. Why would I not? You think I'd let you go to a party with someone else as your date?" Draco laughed; Madeline smiled letting out a relieved breath. She barley saw Draco anymore, she had a stupid thought that he was going to say no, since he never seemed to want to do anything anymore.

"I don't know, I just thought since you're always so busy, you might not want to go."

"No of course I will," he said,

"MADELINE THE GAME IS STARTING!" Theo shouted, Draco chuckled, he kissed Madeline's forehead.

"Go, I'll see you later." She nodded, before turning around and going down the hall, and down the stairs.

"You held us up even more then Draco did." Blaise huffed,

"Okay okay, no more yelling, we're already goanna have a hard time finding a spot now." She said, the common room wall slid open, and they walked out.

"Maybe if we left on time, we'd get a spot." Blaise muttered, Madeline whacked him over the head.
