"Madeline!" Elijah shouted in the great hall, Madeline turned around in her seat, grinning at her brother.
"Elijah, what's up?" She asked, as he caught up to them.
"Oh nothing, I wanted to know if you brought me anymore sweets from Hogsmeade." He said, last time she had gone she had given him two whole bags of it.
"I gave you two bags!" She said,
"And I finished it!" Eiljah said, looking at her like it should have been obvious. Daphne giggled, drawing Elijah's attention. He grinned at her broadly.
"Daphne," he said, bowing his head at her. He extended his hand, Daphne gave him hers, thinking he was going to shake it but instead leaned down and kissed her knuckles, making her laugh.
"Still beautiful as ever." He said,
"You are a big player for an 11-year-old." Daphne teased, as he let her hand go.
"I'm actually 12 now."
"And you actually still don't have a chance." Theo reminded him from across the table. Elijah glanced at him rolling his eyes.
"And you do?"
"At least we're the same age!"
"I'm only two years younger! Younger men treat there future girlfriends/wives much better, just saying." Elijah said, Theo stood up, slamming his hand on the table.
"I'm goanna kill you,"
"With what? Your grandpa legs?" Elijah said, crossing his arms over his chest, and smirking at Theo. Draco held Theo back just as he was about to swing his legs over the bench, and attack the first year.
"Okay, Elijah. How about you go back to the Hufflepuff table, and I'll see if I can bring you more sweets." Madeline said, putting her hand on Elijah's arm.
"Okay, add a bunch of chocolate frogs!" He said, before winking at Daphne and rushing back towards the Hufflepuff table at the other side of the great hall.
"Oh, the trouble he's going to get into when he hits his teenage years, it'll be all over the newspapers." Madeline signed, shaking her head.

"Ayer," Draco said, she looked up from the book her sister had sent her to read on the Slytherin couch. He sat down next to her, as he shut the book, and nodded at him.
"Malfoy, what's up?" She said, putting the book on the table.
"What book are you reading?" He asked,
"It's a book called 'pride and prejudice.'" Madeline said, as Malfoy picked up the red book cover. He opened the book, scanning the first page.
"It's apparently really good, I'm only on the third chapter." Madeline shrugged, as he put the book down.
"Hm interesting."
"Draco!" A whining voice said, they both looked up, seeing Pansy coming down from the girl's dormitory.
"Oh no," Malfoy whispered, scooting closer to Madeline, she tried to stop her heart from beating a little faster. Pansy walked up to them, forcing herself to sit between them. Madeline cleared her throat, as Pansy sat on her skirt, pulling it out from under her, and smoothing it out with her hand.
"What is it, Pansy?" Draco breathed out.
"Oh, I was just wondering where you've been! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." She said, Malfoy rubbed his fingertips against his forehead.
"That's a good thing, right?" Madeline said, Draco bit his lip trying not to smile, as Pansy ignored her.
"Anyway, let's head down to lunch." Pansy said,
"I already ate," Draco said,
"It started two minutes ago?" Pansy asked,
"I'm a very quicker eater." Draco said, making Madeline laugh out loud.
"Why are you laughing Mudblood?" Pansy asked, turning her head, her eyes filled with anger at Madeline.
"Oh, just you getting rejected...once again." Madeline said, Pansy's cheeks turned scarlet, as she glared at Madeline.
"I'm not! Malfoys like this to everyone!"
"But he's worse to you then anyone else, I'm serious, move on already."
"Says the mudblood who only talks to four Slytherin's that can actually stand her. The whole house can barely stand you."
"That's enough." Draco snapped, Madeline and Pansy both looked over at him, but he was glaring at Pansy.
"You need to leave now." Pansy stood up, her face an even brighter red, and her eyes filled with tears as she stood up, and stormed upstairs. Madeline pursed her lips, trying not to smile.
"I'm getting a headache just watching her leave, she's so annoying." He said, slouching in his seat, and crossing his arms over his chest.
"We have shooed her away at least ten times, this year." He said, before waving his hand.
"Anyway, I wanted to ask if you wanted to come to birds' execution with me."
"You're killing the hippogriff?" Madeline said, he nodded.
"Do you want to see how deep it cut?" He asked, unbuttoning his sleeve, and pulling it up. There was a deep scar that ran across his arm.
"I guess that could be a little deep." She said, Draco's breath hitched as she ran her finger over his scar, on his bare skin.
"Whatever, do you want to come or not?" He asked,
"Yeah, I'll come. Why not." She shrugged, as Malfoy buttoned his sleeve.
"Perfect let's go downstairs, I'm staring."
"I thought you already ate for those two minutes?" Madeline asked, as they stood up, Draco rolled his eyes, smirking, as Madeline picked up her copy of pride and prejudice and walked out of the common room with Malfoy.
