After dinner later that night the friends walked downstairs to the slythiern common room, but the crowd stopped moving, they heard some confused murmurs being heard down the crowds, but no one was moving.
"What's going on?" Madeline asked.
"I'm not sure," Daphne said.
"This is taking too long." Malfoy said, he raised his hands up and started pushing everyone out of the way, his friends followed the little path they made. Madeline gasped as she spotted Mrs. Norris, Filch's evil cat, hung upside down by his tail, her blood dripping down onto the ground, the cat looked dead, its eyes filled with fear. There were words written in what Madeline assumed was Mrs. Norris's blood, that said,
THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS HAS BEEN OPENED. ENEMIES OF THE HEIR... BEWARE.
Draco smirked as he turned to look at Ayer.
"You better watch out mudblood." He said, Madeline looked at Harry who gave her a sad, apologetic look.
"Draco," Daphne whispered, her voice filled with warning that she would kill him, Draco ignored her as Filch walked in from another hallway.
"What's going on here? Go on now!" He was shouting before his eyes landed on his precious cat.
"Mrs. Norris!" He shouted, before his eyes landed on Harry.
"You! You've murdered my cat! I'll kill you! I'll-" he said, raising his hands up like he was going to strangle Harry. Harry stepped back shaking his head,
"Argus!" A booming voice said, as the professor's walked into the hallway. Professor Dumbledore looked at the bloody cat, a dark look crossing his old face, before he looked at the Hogwarts students.
"Everyone will proceed to their dormitories immediately. Except you three." He said, pointing to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The groups started separating, walking to their common rooms. Madeline looked over her shoulder, seeing Harry still staring at her before Dumbledore blocked her view.

"Yes Miss. Granger?" Professor McGonagall said the next day as she was in the middle of her transfiguration lesson.
"Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about the Chamber of Secrets?" Hermione asked, McGonagall paused, lowering her wand from the flower she was trying to transfigure.
"My subject is Transfiguration, Ms. Granger."
"Yes, Professor. But there seems to be very little written about the Chamber of Secrets. For those of us with a personal interest in the subject, that is...disturbing." Hermione explained, Draco chuckled under his breath as he stared at Hermione.
"Very well." Professor McGonagall said, before starting to explain what the chamber of secrets was, a home of a monster that the Slytherin heir could control that would attack Muggleborns.
The bell rang shortly after Professor McGonagall's explanation. The group of five Slytherin's stood up and walked out of the common room. Malfoy walked closer to Madeline.
"Did you hear that mudblood, the monster's going to come get you, you know that right?" He asked,
"Shut up," Madeline signed, as Daphne glared at Draco, smacking him over the head with her book.
"Ow!" Draco said,
"Will you stop saying things like that!" Daphne said,
"But it's true! It's not my fault that Ayer's a mudb-" Daphne raised her book in the air again,
"Muggleborn," Draco said quickly, making Theo and Blaise chuckle.
"And it's not her fault you're a prick." Daphne said, Draco looked between his three friends before huffing and deciding to shut his mouth instead, making Ayer grin.
