"Harry, don't!" Madeline shouted, before her stomach was hit with a big snowball. She teasingly glared at him as she whipped snow off her stomach. He stood four feet away from her, chuckling like a seven-year-old, as he picked up more snow.
"Oh, come on, you've never had a snowball fight before?" He asked, she shook her head.
"Well, no not really. I wasn't allowed too. The guards always stopped me before I can throw one." She explained,
"Oh, I forgot you're a princess." Madeline shrugged before kneeling down and picking up some snow. She smashed it into a snowball and aimed at Harry's head. It didn't hit him in the head though, instead landing on his chest.
"Nice shot," Harry laughed, whipping the snow off his chest, before picking up more snow.
"Thanks," Madeline said, not wanting to tell him she was actually aiming for his head. She turned around starting to run as Harry chased her with a big snowball in his fist. She hid behind a tree, kneeling down and making a snowball. She quickly looked around, poking her head from behind the tree. She spotted the back of Harry near the front of the forest. She smiled, tiptoeing towards him, before smashing the snowball on his head.
"Cheap shot!" Harry shouted, before turning around. He wrapped one arm around Madeline's waist, and shoved the snow in her face, she shook her head, trying not to get the snow on it but failing.
"And that wasn't?" Madeline asked, putting her hand on his arm.
"No, I think that's very fair," he said, not removing his arm from around her waist, and Madeline didn't push it away.
"I think you need to relearn about what's fair and what's not." Madeline muttered, as she noticed him leaning down before someone cleared their throat from behind them. Madeline jumped away from Harry, looking to who had interrupted them.
Malfoy stood there, looking angrier than Madeline had ever seen him be before, his arms were crossed over his chest, his eyes burning with rage, his face screwed up, glaring at Harry.
Draco had decided to take a walk, winter was his favorite season, he loved the way the castle and the grounds looked covered in piles of snow. He hated the summer the most, especially because he had to go home.
"Am I interrupting something?" He asked, his voice cold and hard. Madeline didn't know why she felt so guilty, as if she was caught doing something wrong. She wished it had been anyone but Malfoy but of course it wasn't.
"No, no, it's nothing." Madeline said.
"It doesn't seem like nothing." Malfoy whispered,
"Why do you care? Just leave us alone, we're obviously busy." Harry said,
"Yeah, I can see that." He said, his gaze landing on Madeline, she looked away, staring at her feet. Draco signed before turning his back towards them.
It's none of my business, it's none of my business who she's with. She's not my...
Draco's mind shook the thought out of his just as fast as it came. He shouldn't care, he doesn't care, he doesn't want to

The Hogsmeade trip had arrived sooner than the group had realized, and they were back in the little town. Madeline thought it was even prettier now then it was last time, the group walked into Honeydukes.
"You know, this place doesn't have as good sweets as that last place we went too." Madeline commented to Draco, as she ran her fingers across the shelf. Malfoy had been very quiet towards her which was bothering her, more then she thought it would.
"Yeah," he said, she ran her tongue across her teeth annoyed, rolling her eyes.
"What's your problem?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
"What?"
"I thought we were at least okay after hanging out a couple times."
"We're fine." He said, shrugging. Draco leaned against the shelf, crossing his arms over his chest.
"I don't think so,"
"Why are you bothering me?" He asked, she shrugged.
"And it goes up to 85%." She muttered,
"What?" Draco snapped, turning his angry eyes to her.
"I said and it goes up to 85." Madeline repeated, he looked up at the Zonko's ceiling, shaking his head.
"Why are you always like this?" She asked,
"Why are you always with Potter?" Draco asked, standing up straight. Madeline stepped back confused.
"What?"
"I'm asking why are you always with Potter?" Madeline stared at him, shaking her head. He signed and started walking out of Zonko's shop. Madeline pursed her lips, shaking her head again, before deciding to walk after him.
"Malfoy!" She shouted, pushing open the door. Draco stood by the window, pushing some snow around with his boot.
"What?" He snapped,
"Why do you care who I'm hanging out with?" He looked up at her,
"It was a question, I don't care who you hang out with, but why does it have to be Potter?"
"I'm not even spending all my time with him; we just had the snowball fight-"
"And kissed!" Draco shouted before he could stop himself. Madeline's eyes widened; her moth fell open in shock.
"How do you know that!"
"I don't-"
"Yes, you do!" Draco pursed his lips.
"I might have followed you,"
"Followed me?" Madeline shouted, grinding her teeth together. She was thankful that there wasn't anyone walking around at that moment, or it would have been very embarrassing.
"Not intentionally! You were petrified last time you went out alone, so I just wanted to make sure that didn't happen again." Draco snapped, waving his arm in front of his face like it should have been obvious. Madeline rolled her eyes.
"Wow, that's so sweet. I'm so touched." She muttered, crossing her arms over her chest, just as Daphne, Blaise, and Theo walked out of the shop.
"There's nothing good in there." Blaise shrugged, the three did not seem to notice the tense air that was hovering around Draco and Madeline.
"Do you guys want to go to the Three broomsticks?" Theo asked, Daphne shook her head.
"No, it's closed."
"Do you guys just want to go back to Hogwarts then?" Madeline muttered, not in a mood to stay at Hogsmeade any longer.
"Yeah, I guess," Daphne shrugged, noticing the scowling look on Madeline's face.
"You guys go ahead, I'm goanna stay a little longer." Draco said, the group nodded, saying goodbye to him before heading to the station. Madeline looked over her shoulder at him, seeing him already staring at her.
