Madeline wasn't allowed to stay the night with Draco much to her dissapointment. She woke up early the next morning, before breakfast, changed into her Hogwarts unifrom, and ran down to the hospital wing.

"Isn't it a bit early in the morning to be here?" Madam Pomfrey asked when Madeline walked through the doors.

"I wanted to check up on Draco." She said,

"Well, he's still asleep, I think he should wake up any second now though." She said, looking at her wrist watch. Madeline walked to the bed, pulling open the curtain, Draco was still sleeping in the same position she had left him in last night. His face was still looked exhuasted, his face still pale.

"Princess Madeline," A deep familiar voice said, she looked over her shoulder, seeing Michael walking into the hospital wing. She had sent him a letter late last night, letting him know that Draco had been attacked by Potter. He bowed to Madeline, before coming to stand next to her, staring at Draco.

"I got here as soon as I got your letter, has Potter been punished at all?"

"I heard he's gotten detention every Saturday till the end of the term." She shrugged,

"That's all?"

"He's the chosen one, what do you expect?" Madeline signed, she put her hand over Draco's, wanting him to wake up.

"I expected some better results...just give me five minutes alone with him and I'll make sure he never uses Magic him." He whispered; Madeline looked up at him. He looked so much like Mr. Malfoy for a moment, his eyes, his nose, his face structure the only difference was that Michael had a large scar across his face. It sent a shiver of fear down her spine, if she didn't know him personally, she would have been sca6red of him at this moment.

Draco's eyes fluttered open, he looked around the room, before his eyes landed on Madeline and Michael.

"Why are you two staring at me like I've died?" He whispered, he sat up his white shirt was still stained with his dried-up blood. He rubbed his face, his head was pounding, his stomach and chest felt like they were stitched together, it sent a shooting pain up his spine.

"Can you get Madam Pomfrey? I don't feel very well." Michael went to grab Madam Pomfrey, Draco looked at Madeline a small smile on his lips, but before she could say anything Madam Pomfrey walked in.

"Princess Madeline, why don't you go grab Mr. Malfoy some breakfast while I check on him." Madam Pomfrey said, Madeline nodded.

"I'll come with you," Michael said, they walked out of the hospital wing, and down to the great hall, making small conversation about her parents, Elizabeth, and about any news of you know who.

"Michael! Are you here to see Draco? Is Draco awake?" Blaise asked, Michael nodded.

"We were sent to get food for him."

"We were just about to do the same thing. We already made him up a plate, we made one for you two Madeline." Theo said, holding up two plates.

"That's really sweet thank you." Madeline laughed, she looked up at Michael seeing him glaring at Potter.

"Just ignore him, you can't do anything here."

"I know, that's the only thing saving him at the moment." He whispered, before the group headed upstairs and back to the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey had just handed Draco a potion as they walked in. He gulped it down, before handing it back.

"Ah...more people...how wonderful." She whispered, before she went back to her office.

"How are you feeling?" Blaise asked him as he put the plate of breakfast on Draco's lap.

"A little sore, Madam Pomfrey gave me some potion that helped." He said, he took the fork Madeline gave him and started eating his breakfast. The group talked while they watched Draco eat, making sure he finished his breakfast, before they had to leave for there first class.

"Madeline, you have to go too." Draco said,

"But I don't want to leave yet."

"I'll be out in a couple hours, I can meet you in the common room." He said, she signed and nodded. She hesitaied scared she was going to hurt him before she kissed him on the cheek.

"Are you leaving yet?" Draco asked Michael as he watched his friends leave.

"No, I've taken the morning off. King William said I could once I told him what happened," Michal sat down on the chair, leaning back, he rested his right ankle on his knee, staring at Malfoy.

"You look skinner," Draco signed, rubbing his forehead.

"I know,"

"You also look tired, you look pale, that could be from the blood loss,  but you don't look the same Draco. What's going on?" He asked, Draco shrugged.

"Nothing."

"You seem...different."

"I'm not, it's just the blood loss."

"Listen Draco, if somethings...going on you can tell me. I can help you."

"What do you think is going on Michael? I'm here, in Hogwarts where it's supposed to be safe. So I'm fine." Draco snapped, Michael let out a long breath and shrugged.

"If you're so safe, why are you sitting in this hospital bed? Why did Potter attack you?"

"Because he's an arse! We fight every year, this year it just got...bad! He used dark magic why aren't you yelling at him?"

"You don't think I want too? He's protected by Dumbledore; I can't hurt that kid no matter how much I want too." Michael shouted; Draco signed.

"Listen, you're giving me a headache, and I just want to rest right now." Draco put his pillow back on the mattress, he laid on his left side, so he didn't have to look at Michael anymore.

"Draco, I want you to come live with me. I asked you last year, remember? I don't know if you got my letter, you never responded but I want to protect-"

"I'm tired Michael." He whispered, he brought the blanket over his head, shutting his eyes. Draco heard Michael stand up.

"I hope you feel better, Draco. I'm going to write to you soon." Draco heard Michael walk out of the hospital wing.
